Banana Republic Is Celebrating Diversity With 8 New Shades of Nude

Banana Republic is strengthening its commitment to diversity with a brand-new collection that focuses on inclusivity.

The retailer officially launched a new range of skin-tone-colored undergarments and accessories in different shades of nude. The True Hues collection includes an array of camisoles, bodysuits, socks, underwear, bras and heels in eight colors that aim to match a wide variety of skin tones.

The capsule collection ranges in price from $7 to $118 and is now available in stores and on the Banana Republic website. Oh, did we mention everything is 30 percent off from now until April 30? Talk about a come up.

True to its Californian roots, Banana Republic partnered with the dancers of the Oakland, California-based Full Out Studios (seen above wearing the essential bodysuit, $34) to showcase the pieces in movement.

The essential layering camisole ($23) even comes in several flesh shades and neutrals like gray.

And at $118, the bare high-heel sandal is a more wallet-friendly option for fans of the Stuart Weitzman nudist.

Gotta love that triple strap detail.

The True Hues collection also features exclusive lingerie from Cosabella, made especially for Banana Republic’s new line…because we all know how hard it is to find a nude bra that actually matches your skin.

Anouar Alami, Banana Republic’s senior director of trend and concept, said in a statement about the new offering, “Banana Republic is proud to introduce True Hues as part of our platform supporting equality and as a way to live out Gap Inc’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity as a whole.”

Style with a side of social justice? We’re all about it.
