Latest list of central Pa. restaurants offering takeout during the coronavirus pandemic

Place your orders. Restaurants across central Pa. have converted to takeout/delivery models amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.

Gov. Tom Wolf announced the changes Monday as part of an order to close non-essential businesses including gyms, salons, shopping malls and theaters. Essential businesses including grocery stores, drug stores and gas stations remain open.

While many restaurants are pivoting to the new model, owners say they are concerned about the future of the industry. In Pennsylvania, the restaurant and hospitality industry employs about 702,000 people. Experts have implied the industry could face a major blow, especially as employees lose jobs.

Below is a list - in alphabetical order - of restaurants that have closed or offering carryout and delivery models. We will continue to update this list as information comes in from email, social media, and directly from restaurants.

Restaurant owners with information to share about closings and transition to takeout/delivery-only models, please send us an email at sgleiter@pennlive.com.
