Madison-native crowned Miss Black USA

Miss Black Wisconsin is now Miss Black USA.
Madison native Tekema Balentine took home the crown during Sunday’s pageant, held in Washington, D.C.
Balentine is a nursing student at Madison Area Technical College and a Madison East High School graduate.
Balentine competed against 32 other contestants. She will take home a college scholarship.
