Nursing homes have been known to be a likely trouble spot for coronavirus since the early days of the pandemic.

About two-thirds of Pennsylvania’s coronavirus deaths occurred at nursing homes during the first wave of the pandemic. Since new treatments, enhanced infection controls and vaccines have been implemented, the portion of the state’s COVID-related deaths has declined to about half.

The data below, released by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, shows the number of cases and deaths associated with nursing homes in each of the state’s 67 counties with such facilities.
