IS YOUR ORGANIZATION ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION?

IS YOUR ORGANIZATION ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION?

You can see the findings from the March 2018 research From Inc.Digital here on Slideshare or the video version with audio commentary below.

Below are some of the key findings to for you to think about and help you determine if your organization is on the right or wrong side of transformation.

Management is driven by many rationales for digital transformation activities. The question we should be asking could be; is it better to focus than to diversify? (slide 3)

Even with the energy and ideas for transformation, few organizations are built on a digital core (16%) and more success has to come from focusing on solving key challenges. (slide 7 & 9)

Employees love their leaders help and support but 4 in 10 are unsure about the organizational strategy and vision that comes out of executives. (slide 6 and 8)

Only 18% of organizations have focused on developing the leading digital DNA indicators of success over the last three years. This lack of focus will be like an anchor on over 65% of organizations. (slide 11)

Many know why they are failing or stalling and it is due to a combination of not understanding the internal challenges and leadership's strategy and/or vision. (slide 7 & 9).

Organizations still mostly measure success with "soft" metrics but we will need to migrate to economic metrics to thrive in a hard digital world. (slide 4)

2 in 3 IT leaders are reinventing their digital roles and 4 in 10 will be leading digital transformation initiatives going forward (but in a very different way than before). (slide 13 & 14)
