The Summer 2024 course schedule will be available for view on HomerConnect and DegreeWorks beginning Monday, February 26, by noon. (See below for registration dates and times.)

Additional information for the Summer 2024 term can be found at https://www.ithaca.edu/academics/summer-ithaca-college

The Fall 2024 course schedule will be available for view on HomerConnect and DegreeWorks beginning Monday, March 18, by noon.

On Wednesday, March 20, after 12pm, students will be able to view their Registration Status (aka Time Ticket) on HomerConnect.

Registration Status lets students know what day and time they can begin to register for classes. To ensure the most accurate time ticket, students should complete the following prior to Monday, March 11:

  • Confirm all transfer credits have been awarded, including but not limited to, AP, IB and CLEP.
  • Complete any change of majors/minors/concentrations via IC workflow.
Reminders:

Registration status/Time Ticket assignment is based on credits earned; in-progress spring credits ARE NOT considered for the purposes of Time Ticket assignment.

To check your credits earned: on your Student Profile page in HomerConnect, view Overall Hours.

DegreeWorks includes the classes you are currently taking in credits applied, this is NOT what time ticketing is based on.

When using your HomerConnect Profile page, ensure Fall 2024 term is selected in the upper left corner. To find your time ticket: click on Registration Notices in the upper right corner. You can also check holds here. Not all holds block registration; please be sure to look at Processes Affected. Please reach out to the originator of the hold to resolve the issue.

Once Fall registration begins, Prerequisite Checking and Course Restrictions WILL include review of your in-progress Spring courses.

The IC Workflow override system opens with your time ticket (not before). You cannot submit an override until your time ticket opens.

NO option in the override system when a class is full:

There is NO option in the override system when a class is full; the only option for a full class is to go on waitlist (if waitlist seats are available).

You can also speak to your advisor about registering for a different degree requirement if possible.

Please keep in mind, this is only the beginning of registration which continues until the last day of add/drop: Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Registration Access Code (RAC) for Fall registration only:

Students in H & S, Recreation Leisure Studies, Pre-Health Professions, all Theater majors, current first year students in the School of Business, and current first year and new transfer students in Health Sciences & Public Health are required to meet with their advisor to receive their RAC which will be available to advisors Friday, March 15, by noon.

Students in the above populations must have this code in order to register. Please keep the code in a safe place, you will need to enter the code each time you access registration in HomerConnect.

The only way for a student to obtain this code is to make an advising appointment with their advisor.
