PUERTO RICO SERVICE PROJECT

After serving ten years as Reformed Church missionaries to Latin America, we are eager to help our friends in Puerto Rico recuperate from the hurricanes of this past season. We are accompanying Marisol Ferrer-Malloy on one of her routine trips to Puerto Rico, in order to help renovate homes and a special mission house which will house volunteers into the future as the island comes back from this disaster. we need the funds by April 20, since we will be leaving May 2 and stay through May 8.  The funds will pay for our flight, our room and board while we are there, and for building materials that we will need to make the renovations.
If you can help us, we would love to give you a photo album when we return of our experience. We see this as a real kingdom imperative for serving our neighbors, especially since the federal government has not been eager to support Puerto Rico's restoration. We hope you will support us in this effort to make other's suffering more bearable and bring hope where there is despair.
