Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our neighborhood school is home to approximately 400 students, grades Pre-K through 5, in the Bronx, NY. We have a diverse group of learners who are enthusiastic and motivated! Last March, due to COVID-19, they transitioned to remote learning and this fall they will begin blended learning.

We are still in need of technology for all students to be successful during this new phase!

This project will benefit students who are working both from home and in the classroom.

My Project

There is so much learning to take place! The donation of Chromebooks will allow our students, whether working remotely at home or in school, to continue to stay connected.

Students will have the opportunity to work on assignments, research topics, engage in projects, and interact with their teachers and peers.

Chromebooks will give them access to various apps, such as Google Classroom, Flipgrid, Epic Reading, Book Creator, and more, to make their learning more hands-on and engaging. They will continue to develop their lifelong technological skills.

These Chromebooks are essential in making blended learning a success and will ensure our students remain curious and excited to learn!
