COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Former Ohio State basketball player Aaron Craft has been living in Italy as a professional basketball player.

He took to Twitter to shed some light on what it’s like living under the strict quarantine order put into place by the country. The former Buckeye and Ohio native stated that conditions have gotten progressively worse over the past few weeks. Like in the United States, Italy has postponed all sporting events and canceled all team-related events. Unlike the United States, Italy is on a nationwide lockdown and has put travel restrictions in place.

Craft is in his final season as a Euro League player as he plans to enroll in medical school at Ohio State after the season. He’s averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 assists while playing for five teams since 2015. Craft was also part of the Buckeyes’ alumni basketball team “Carmen’s Crew” over the summer in the TBT tournament. He helped the former Buckeyes win the tournament and the $2 million prize for the first time.

During his Ohio State career he averaged 9.8 points, 4.7 assists and 2.3 steals while starting in 113 of 148 games. The Buckeyes went 99-37 — 52-20 in the Big Ten — and reached the Final Four in 2012.
