COLUMBUS, Ohio -- For the first time since Jan. 13, Ohio State basketball is a ranked team as it sits at No. 25 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Coming off of a horrid January, the Buckeyes have won five of their last six games to re-enter the top 25. They are one of four ranked Big Ten teams including No. 7 Maryland, No. 9 Penn State and No 20 Iowa. OSU joins No. 23 BYU and No. 24 Arizona as new teams to the top 25 this week.
Ohio State will face the Hawkeyes in Iowa City, Iowa on Thursday on ESPN. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. It will then host the Terrapins on Saturday.
Baylor, Gonzaga, Kansas and San Diego State — the only remaining undefeated team — continue to hold the top four spots in the poll. The Bears have been ranked as the No. 1 team for the past five weeks.
