AKRON, Ohio -- Alternative country group Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will perform at the Akron Civic Theatre on Thursday, May 28, along with opening band Hiss Golden Messenger. Tickets will cost $49.50-$99.50, and will go on sale on Ticketmaster’s website on Feb. 28.
The show will celebrate a new release from Isbell -- an album titled “Reunions,” expected out on May 15. It’ll be Isbell’s seventh album under his name; the accomplished singer-songwriter was previously a member of Drive-By Truckers.
As a solo artist, Isbell has won four Grammy awards, and created hit songs “If We Were Vampires” and “Hope The High Road.”
