CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Whether you’re looking for a romantic event, or just something fun to do, there are plenty of options in Cleveland this weekend.

Concerts, theatrical performances, comedy shows and educational experiences are all on the docket for the next few days.

Concerts at Nighttown

Nighttown will feature two different shows for Valentine’s Day. Nicole Henry will sing love songs along with the Robert Hubbard Trio on Thursday, Feb. 13. Then, on the big day itself, Moises Borges will perform Brazilian love songs all night long. Tickets $20-$30.

Galentine’s Day at Fear’s Confections

Fear’s Confections will team up with The Reading Room Cle for a Galentine’s Day party. The event features a blind date with a book, where the shop will sell books wrapped in paper, with short descriptions of what to expect inside. Who knows? You might find your next favorite read.

Plus, enjoy brownies and hot beverages in the shop. Tickets $12.

Great Lakes Theater presents “Sleuth”

Who doesn’t love a good mystery? This Tony-winning play is a mind-bending whodunit thriller about a suspense writer who invites his wife’s lover and fellow game enthusiast to the house, where a series of events challenges the audience to decipher what’s real and what’s not. Tickets, $15-$89.

Comedy Laugh Fest at Wolstein Center

Sweetheart’s Sock Hop at Mahall’s

Get ready to shake, rattle and roll at Mahall’s on Valentine’s Day. The bar and bowling alley will pull out all the stops on its ‘50s Sock Hop, featuring DJs spinning the biggest hits of the ‘50s and a few dancing competitions throughout the night. Tri-C High School Rock Off

The 2020 edition of the Tri-C High School Rock Off features 37 young competitors from around the country, competing for glory and prizes at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This year’s preliminary rounds kick off on Feb. 1 and continue Feb. 8 and Feb. 15. Four acts from each round will make it through to The Final Exam, which will take place Saturday, Feb. 29. The winner gets $1,000 in cash and other prizes. Tickets cost $10 and include admission to Rock Hall.

Oliver Hazard at Mahall’s

Waterville, Ohio-based band Oliver Hazard will bring its folky vibes to Mahall’s for a concert on Saturday night. The group has released 2018 album “34 N. River” and 2019 EP “The Flood" to acclaim that reaches past its small hometown. Kallan + Kahrin will open the night. Tickets $10.

Trippie Redd at the Agora

Trippie Redd will be returning to Northeast Ohio for his upcoming show at the Agora. The rapper grew up in Canton and Columbus, and later went on to release several chart-topping projects, including 2019 mixtape “A Love Letter To You 4” which hit number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. Tickets are sold out, but resale options are available on Stubhub and AXS ($100+).
