Dr. Andrei and our team provide a multifaceted approach and therefore the treatment of obesity is often a combination of nutrition, psychological, medical and surgical interventions. Surgical intervention such as the vertical sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, duodenal switch, and gastric banding are an important component of the treatment of and often critical to achieve longstanding control of obesity, but only as a part of the treatment not as a sole approach. Our program helps provide a structure that works with each patient’s lifestyle, including support groups monthly to ensure that there’s a positive and open forum available to meet all of our patients needs at any stage of the program they may be in. Our team members include Registered Dietician, Clinical Psychologist, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistants. Each member including the physicians is present on site and available during extended hours daily and during weekends.
