Description
2020 marks the 250th anniversary of iconic composer Ludwig van Beethoven's birth, and your Colorado Symphony embarks on a year-long celebration, performing over two dozen concerts and events across the state of Colorado. Join us at Colorado State University's Griffin Concert Hall, with a small ensemble of musicians from the Colorado Symphony, as they curate an intimate evening for our next installment of our Beethoven performances — including a performance of Beethoven's revered Septet in E flat major!
About Beethoven 2020: Beginning December 16, 2019 (Beethoven's recognized birthday) and continuing through December 16, 2020, the full orchestra and small ensembles will feature some of Beethoven's greatest works, including Missa Solemnis, Violin Concerto, Symphony No. 3 "Eroica," Symphony No. 9, and many more. Events will be continually announced throughout the season, so subscribe to the Colorado Symphony's eNotes e-mail list and check coloradosymphony.org for the latest announcements. Beethoven 2020 is sponsored in part by the Colorado State University System.
