Biography

I am a senior at California State University Fullerton on track to finish my undergraduate work in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance by 2020. The purpose of completing my degree is to find a career in the areas of financial analytics, private equity, or real-estate investment analytics. Ultimately, I would like to used the knowledge and experiences gained from previous work history to start my own business consultation firm where I can help struggling minorities whom may have the skills, but not the capability or business knowledge, to run a business.

In order to achieve my vision, I have gotten involved with varies investment organizations around campus in order to further develop my financial as well leadership skills. Currently I am the Vice President of the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) organization as well as an analyst for Titan Capital Management where we develop our financial analytical skills through applying our academic knowledge to a practical scenario by constructing equity reports, following global economic trends, and managing the CSUF's philanthropic endowment of 1.5 Million dollars.

Work Experience

Analyst, Titan Capital Management (June 2019 - Present): I am a analyst for Titan Capital Management where my responsibilities are to conduct in-depth research on varies companies using a blended topdown/ bottom up strategy on various securities and creating buy/ sell recommendations that is in-line with the CSUF Philanthropic Endowment and the Presidents Scholars investment policy. I utilize excel to construct financial models as well as Bloomberg terminals to assist in my equity research and valuation.

Vice President, Student Managed Investment Fund (June 2019 - Present): As Vice President of the Student Managed Investment Fund organization, I help in contributing to a positive learning environment for students who are interested in learning about investments and the markets by helping them understand the fundamental analysis, valuation, and economic conditions. I also assist our president and secretary in developing the strategy for the portfolio we manage based of economic indicators which dictate how much exposure we will want to certain areas of the market.

Analyst, Student Managed Investment Fund (August 2018 - Present) As an Analyst for the Student Managed Investment Fund organization, I perform research on companies that follows the investment strategy set by the officers. Reports are created through fundamental analysis and valuations that will bring the best risk/ reward out come for our clients, the CFAOC. In the fall of 2018, we successfully got 1st place in a competition against schools such as Chapman University, UCI, and UCR to have the privilege of managing the CFAOC largest portfolio of $60,000.

Ruiz Brothers and Associates Inc.

Junior Estimator, Ruiz Brothers and Associates Inc (December 2017 - Present) As a junior estimator, I worked closely with the president of Ruiz Brothers and Associates to calculate the amount of materials we will need for all hardscaping jobs. I use varies scales and interpret blueprints to come up with amount of material that will be needed and construct a report that shows all square footage, linear footage, and the amount of units needed to submit a proposal to our clients.
