Creative Cloud in NYC A Three step guide to successfully using the Creative Cloud

A quick overview of the plan!

Step 1

Entitle Users for Creative Cloud

In this first step you entitle your students to have full access to the Creative Cloud on any device anywhere they may be. This will be connected to their new DIIT provided E-mail address: nycstudents.net

***You must add the user name in the CSV file for this process to work properly***

EX: Student Id 12343ftds@nycstudents.net Username is 1243ftds

Step 2

Install the Creative Cloud

There are only a few simple options to choose when creating install packages for deployment in a computer lab. In this video we will cover what each option does and how it can affect the end user experience. Any serialized Adobe software must be uninstalled prior to installation of a new package.

Step 3

Helping Students Login to Creative Cloud

At this step your students have an entitlement and the computer lab has software installed. The last step is to help the students login. They can claim their new E-mail account by visiting the DIIT portal to claim their new E-mail account.

Additional Resources

I know there is still so much to learn about the Creative Cloud and all of the amazing opportunities it can provide for your students. This link is a curated list of resources compiled by a teacher, for teachers. This is the one stop shop for all your Creative Cloud needs in education.
