Background

Originally from Huntington Beach, CA, our family moved to the Anza-Borrego Desert area in 2003, where our area has just over 1,100 occupants. Having been raised in a rural community since age 7, attending college and working in actual cities has been a change of pace which I am enjoying. Upon graduating, I am eagerly and happily looking forward to making the permanent change from my rural, unincorporated area, to the hustle and bustle of city life.

I found my way back to Orange County after transferring to CSU Fullerton, where I attend fulltime. I am an honest friend, hard worker, and dedicated student who loves to laugh and live life to the fullest. I have several years of work experience ranging from providing customer service at Ralphs, to handling money transactions at Rite Aid. For my future career, I am interested in the many finance related opportunities in the financial world, including: investment analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and corporate finance.

Education: I have an Associate's Degree in Social Sciences from Palomar College. At CSU Fullerton, I am majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, and will graduate Spring 2020.
Work Experience: My first job was at Walmart, where I worked as a Sales Associate throughout 2015. Working at Walmart was essentially how you would imagine working at Walmart would be like; needless to say, I picked up some peculiar and funny stories. I have also worked part time and full time at Ralphs as a Service Deli Clerk from early 2017 to late 2018, and I have started working part time at Rite Aid as a Cashier as of June 2019.

Coursework

  • FIN 320 & 321: Financial Management I & 2
  • FIN 335: Financial Analysis
  • FIN 340: Introduction to Investments
  • ISDS 361 A & B: Business Analytics I & 2
  • ACCT 301: Intermediate Accounting

Additionally, I am an Equity Analyst for Titan Capital Management, where our team actively manages an endowment fund of real investments consisting of over one million dollars in assets.

Accomplishments: From an early age, I developed the motivation to do well in school. Consistently achieving high honor roll followed me into my college career, where I transferred to CSU Fullerton with a 3.93 GPA, and continue to closely maintain that average by holding a 3.74 GPA. Not only do I do my best to study hard for school, but at my former job at Ralphs, I was awarded employee of the month in 2018 for developing a pattern for superb service and going the extra mile.
