Dear Families,
I am so excited to be able to reconnect with my amazing students!
To start the school year, I visited each classroom for a lesson on cyberbullying. The goals of this lesson are to:
Develop digital citizenship skills in the areas of etiquette and virtual expectations
Define cyberbullying and give examples
Discuss ways to stand up to cyberbullying
Understand Council Rock's polices related to cyberbulying and harassment
Model positive online behavior
My goal is to continue to be a source of support for my students and families. Please see the most recent resources listed below. By no means do I wish to add additional pressure to anyone’s workload. I aim to do the opposite, and I am available to talk with you via email or a phone call.
Please know that I miss our students very much and have been thinking about them daily. Take everything one step at a time, and if anything feels like it is too much, take a break! Together, we can do this!
Please contact me at any time at njachimski@crsd.org or ext. 1846.
All the best,
Mrs. Jachimski

Elementary School Counseling Philosophy
Council Rock School District promotes the model of developmental guidance. In the developmental guidance model, the Elementary School Counselor’s role is to guide students in acquiring the attitudes, knowledge, and skills that contribute to effective learning in school and across the lifespan. The counselors will help students develop and apply skills needed to enhance personal, social, career, and academic growth. These areas are in alignment with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) national standards.
