As long as there are children living in poverty and facing inequity, every day is Red Nose Day

Child poverty has long been a crisis, but right now it is nothing short of an emergency. A gift of any size can protect children facing poverty from the ripple effects of COVID-19.

We need your support to help give children living in the most vulnerable communities across the U.S. and around the world a chance at a better life and a brighter future.

As long as there are children living in poverty and facing inequity, every day is Red Nose Day

Even when the unpredictable happens, like the crisis of COVID-19, your ongoing support helps give children living in the most vulnerable communities across the U.S. and around the world a chance at a better life and a brighter future.

A monthly gift goes even further, because giving a little each month adds up to big change.

When you give monthly, you’ll also become a member of The Sandbox, Red Nose Day’s community of monthly givers.

It’s OFFICIALLY Red Nose Day Season

Guess who's back!?

Red Nose Day 2020 is in full swing and we cannot be more thrilled!

While this year's campaign may look a little different, we're more committed than ever to coming together to end child poverty – even if that means supporting the cause while staying socially distant.

Here's a breakdown of all the ways you can participate in Red Nose Day this year:

1. The Digital Nose

It’s true, the Red Nose looks a bit different this year! While everyone – including the iconic Red Nose – practices social distancing, you won’t be able to find the Red Nose at your local Walgreens. Instead, when you donate online to Red Nose Day, you can unlock your own digital Red Nose.

The digital Red Nose comes in the form of a Filter on Facebook and Instagram, and a lens on Snapchat. Simply donate and you’ll receive a link to unlock your digital Red Nose on both the confirmation page and in your email receipt.

While we may be apart, we can still act together to change and save the lives of children.

Now let's see those selfies!

2. Get the Whole Family Involved

We could all use a little comic relief (wink wink) right now, and many of us have been looking for ways to give back in a way that brings together the whole family. Enter: Joke-Ha-Thon for Families.

From now until Red Nose Day (May 21) you and your family can share your best jokes to raise money to support children who are most in need – and raise some spirits too.

The best news? Hasbro will match funds raised for Joke-Ha-Thon up to $50,000!

Everything you need to know about the Joke-Ha-Thon

P.S. Are you a teacher, or know one? We’ve got Joke-Ha-Thon for schools and remote learning resources, too.

3. Raise Money Your Way

We bet you’re thinking, “I love the digital Red Nose! Joke-Ha-Thon? I’m there! Anything else I can do?” Well, first of all, wow. You’re our favorite person ever.

But yes, it’s true: you can do almost anything to raise money for Red Nose Day. While in-person activities may not be possible this Red Nose Day season, there are still countless ways to hold a virtual fundraiser to help children in need.

Challenge yourself to a movie marathon, throw a virtual happy hour, donate your birthday, or come up with something totally new. You can even raise money by live-streaming your gameplay, or by simply setting up a fundraising page, telling your friends, kicking back, and watching the donations roll in.
