In the last thirty years, David has developed over 300 projects in the energy industry through several companies, including Winkelman’s Environmentally Responsible Construction (WERC) , Small Wind Turbines, LLC (SWT), Innovative Power Systems (IPS Solar), Winkelman Building Corporation (WBC), Bradbury Stamm (which now owns WBC) and most recently Winkelman Solar Developers. These projects include solar, wind, battery storage and energy efficiency. David works with financing, pre-construction design and installation. Junior Achievement North – St. Cloud area prepares students to be the leaders of tomorrow. JA teaches students in grades K-12 about money management, how to prepare for college and a career, and how to start businesses that create jobs and strengthen our economy.

Interested in furthering the JA mission?

  1. We are in need of 150 volunteers this spring to teach JA programs in local K-12 classrooms. Can you spare less than an hour as little as once a week? As a JA volunteer, you will visit a classroom for five in-person sessions (30-45 minutes each). All materials and training are provided by JA and come with step-by-step instructions to ensure that your volunteer experience is positive and rewarding. Bonus, you get to spend a little more time with your favorite student and their classmates! No previous experience is needed. You can explore the programs we offer here or you can reach out to erin.brum@janorth.org for a current list of local classrooms in need of a volunteer. Ready to jump in? Complete our volunteer registration form!

We are looking for volunteers to host a Junior Rotarian virtually:

- Volunteer to host for one month -November, December, January, February, March or April
- Log on to the regular Zoom meeting link at 11:50am each week during the month you selected to volunteer (please commit to attending each week to connect with your Junior Rotarian)
- Leigh Ann will move you to a Zoom breakout room so you will have a few minutes to connect with your Junior Rotarian before the meeting starts
Introduce your Junior Rotarian when President Johnson calls for introductions

That's it! How easy is that?  Please email Tammy Biery with the month you'd like to be a host.

As a host, you can attend meetings in person or virtually. If you join the in person meeting, we ask that you find a quiet space to meet with your Junior Rotarian on a mobile device via Zoom from 11:50 until the beginning of the meeting.

Email Tammy - tammy.biery@CSJobs.org if you'd like to volunteer!
