HoloEdit works but there's a problem

Image
...Holoedit, still works without the compute hours. Whatever, lets roll with it. I'm having more dark thoughts than usual, they get worse when i work.   As far as I know, houdini can't be used to paint and repair textures, that's more photoshop territory. Stages are assigned to clips to add effects/clean/do things to them I can't get the thing to work in Mari for holoedit: There's a scripts folder in the holoedit package i have to import into so i'm going to try and figure it out how to repair meshes with Maya. That should be the highest priority. I can generate skeletons but i can't seem to figure out how to import/export tracking data correctly into plugins. This is another instance where there's yet another program i have to figure out just so i can use this program. that's pipelines for ya.  Looks like to generate skeletons, you need volumetric videos that are full body enough so extremities can be defined. Holoedit can generate skeletons for
10:00  Time to try out Holoedit. Today I'm just going to rush a video into Mari. Got a low res sequence out of brekel that works. The problem with a lot of this software is that they are often too complex to be completely understood with the manual provided. Independent creators could find this to be a barrier if they have little programming experience.  2:00 All the compute hours are used up somehow. I don't know why.

12:59 pm Out of weed, RE8's waiting in my library. Angry. Tonight, I'll be jamming with Holoedit and writing my abstract ...hopefully. The case of energy drinks I ordered have 240mg of caffeine in each can. I wonder if that's too much. One of the ram chips is still not installed correctly, point cloud alignment still doesn't work, and I'm starting to get sick of Cava but fuck I don't care this shit just needs to start working. Keeping both azure's plugged into the tower's front 2 usb ports seems to get rid of the video glitching. There are still wafting holes in the live feeds that i can only assume are being caused by dust particles. I shot a video of me eating sulking while eating Cava on the floor. It's being exported in high res and will be edited in holoedit. I really hope that i Don't end up wasting four hours for nothing. (guess what tho) 5:50 Oh look at that. The video export failed. AGAIN. When I tried to convert the video into an M
Brekel pointcloud v3 update 0.75: New Brekel update is out for the month. Alignment algorithms still have not been fixed, there are more export options. Connecting the azures is still a pain. Nathalie's works fine even with the bad cables. Mine's doing all the screen glitching again. I am starting to think that the azure that I bought was broken. Everything is still broken, or should be working fine but just isn't. At least a builds can be produced. For the wiki, figure out how it is organized with Beth. Compare it to other wikis. Keep in mind how it can be shared and filled out by other creators. Use this blog this reference. Plan the thing in Figma.

I'm a Mad Mad Mad Mad Steve

Ok we're back on this again. Why we stopped, I'll never forget. How is nobody doing tonight? Can I get a Thesis is in its final stages. I could have been writing this the whole time. Journaling, noting, cataloguing, venting about the Trump Presidency. Well I'm back, I've missed it here.  We are currently at the two stage problem. Two Kinect Azures, no idea how to calibrate them. There's a frame skipping issue and I'm pretty sure it's directly correlated to how much is getting though these 20ft usb-c 3.1 cables connected to the cams.  Brekel Pointcloud v3 is starting to piss me off with the bugs. Its still awesome don't get me wrong (Oh my God baby loves it). Alignment has to be done manually, but it doesn't take long. We're running low on available memory, we still need a new GPU, and it's dark out. Need to try HoloEdit again. Did not get the full experience.  I'm back bitches.
