Sharks Swimming Ranked 6th in February CSCAA Top 25 Div. II Poll

Men, women both ranked sixth

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University swimming teams are featured in the Top-10 of the February College Swimming Coaches Association of America/TYR NCAA Division II Top 25 polls released on Thursday. Both the men and the women's teams are ranked sixth, as the men jumped up four spots from the January poll and the women remained the same.

The CSCAA NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving team rankings are voted on by CSCAA member coaches and released on a monthly basis. The poll aims to measure the top teams in head-to-head competition.

The women's side is largely unchanged from the January poll. The UC San Diego women received four of the six top votes from the committee. Queens took the remaining number one votes which was good enough for a second place ranking. Drury and Indy flipped positions from the last poll. Drury now sits at third and Indy fourth.  Wingate remained fifth.

For the men, four of the top five teams remain in tack, with just a slightly different order. UC San Diego men, like their women counterpart, walked away with four of the top votes. Drury and Queens both hold at second and third, respectively. Indy dropped from first to fourth. McKendree moved back into the Top 5 this month, jumping three spots from their previous 8th place ranking.

Nova Southeastern's postseason action will begin next Thursday, Feb. 13-17 at the Sunshine State Conference Championships in Clearwater, Fla.
