NSU Women’s Golf Hires Stan Moore as Next Assistant Coach

Moore has 20-plus years of experience as a professional instructor

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nearing the start of the 2019-20 season, the Nova Southeastern women's golf team has found its new assistant coach, as Stan Moore was officially named to the position on Thursday.

"I have had the good fortune of being chosen as the assistant coach of the Nova Southeastern women's golf team," said Moore. "The team is rated as one of the top ladies golf teams in the country. I look forward in anxious anticipation of working with each of these outstanding lady golfers in helping them reach their personal goals, as well as contend for the national championship."

Originally from Jackson, Miss., Moore currently serves as the Director of Putting Instruction at the Don Law Golf Academy in Boca Raton, Fla., where he provides putting solutions to professionals, top collegiate players, elite juniors from around the world, as well as to recreational golfers. He has been around the game of golf for over 50 years, acting as a professional instructor for 20 of them, including time spent as Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction at clubs in both Arizona and Georgia.

"Stan is considered one of the best short game and putting coaches in South Florida, and will be a tremendous asset to the team moving forward," said Sharks head coach Heather Wall. "I couldn't be more excited about this great addition to our program."

Moore has earned putting certifications at the highest level with Science & Motion, Capto, The Putt Doctor, and The Putting Zone.

NSU will open the 2019-20 season at the BUBBA Burger Jacksonville Classic, held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. from Sept. 30 – Oct. 1. To stay up-to-date with the Sharks on Twitter, follow them @NSU_WGolf.
