Thanks for the Great Reunion

Many thanks to the crowd at this year's reunion - 88 people met at the Shrine auditorium and enjoyed another delicious meal of steak or chicken. I had a little goof-up with registrations and meal reservations, but the staff managed to find meals for all.

Thanks to Roland Willets for an emotional tribute to his wife who passed away the previous week. Roland managed to contrast her life with his at Roosevelt, tying in those Roosevelt days as their lives were so different. We laughed, we cried, we remembered some good times at high school. Thank you, Roland!

Thank you to Dennis Nelson who brought friends from the Augsburg College Choir Alumni who were in town for concerts.

Thank you to our committee: Sharon Cziok for taking photos (available by replying to this email), and to our registration folks: Penelope Anderson, Diane Olson Michalik and Lorraine Erlander. We missed Sue O'Malley who helps every year, but had to stay in Minneapolis with health problems.

And thanks to so many of you who included donations to keep this effort afloat. We're back in the black and able to put a deposit down for 2020. Your assistance is really appreciated!

Date set for the 2020 Reunion
We're having a 24th reunion - and we have a reservation for Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

The Phoenix Shrine Auditorium has agreed to keep prices the same, so we're still charging $27 - meal choices remain petite steak, chicken breast or vegetarian.

Reservation forms are on the web site www.rhs-az.com and you can either download and print out a form, or use the interactive form, send it to me and then pay with a credit card at Paypal (you do not need a paypal account, and can use any credit card).

We will mail reservation forms about January 1, 2020.

If you know that you'll be in Arizona, why not do this now?

Last year we heard author and grad Henry Gallagher '57 as he read from his book about growing up in the Roosevelt Neighborhood. Many of you summer in Minnesota and Henry will be visiting the area.
