SPONSOR A WHITE COAT TODAY

The White Coat Tradition

The White Coat Ceremony is a tremendous occasion marking the beginning of a student’s journey into medical education and a lifelong career in healing. Receiving this iconic professional symbol represents the donning of the responsibility and revered privilege of caring for each and every patient they encounter.

We invite you to join us in welcoming a new generation of UTRGV-trained physicians by sponsoring an incoming student’s first white coat. Students will have the opportunity to learn of their white coat sponsor and offer their gratitude once the ceremony has concluded.

UTRGV’s School of Medicine uses innovative, competency-based medical education to train the next generation of physicians who are committed to improving the lives and well-being of their communities through innovative research and compassionate, and patient-centered care

Join us in welcoming our future generation of physicians by supporting a white coat. For $150, you are providing a student with the universal symbol of the profession of medicine - the white coat.

Your contribution shows students you believe in their ability to succeed and is a symbol of your commitment to the next generation of physicians. Your gift will have an immediate and meaningful impact on UTRGV and the lives of our students.

The White Coat Ceremony

The UTRGV School of Medicine will host its White Coat Ceremony and welcome its fourth class of medical students.
