Description: Research suggests that promoting teacher voice supports the successful implementation of SEL programs and practices. By implementing teacher voice strategies, leaders may be able to better understand how to identify and support the SEL needs of their teachers, which can also support the implementation of student SEL strategies. During this REL Pacific webinar, a researcher and practitioner will discuss three potential teacher voice strategies for supporting teacher SEL and will engage in a discussion about how these strategies can be used by school leaders.

Audience: The primary audience for this webinar is practitioners who are interested in using teacher voice to promote teacher SEL. A secondary audience is education researchers.

Speakers: Samantha Holquist, REL Pacific at McREL International
Marisa Crowder, REL Pacific at McREL International
Sarah Pierce, REL Northwest at McREL International
Jenny Gillet Hooper, Instructional Specialist
