$3.40 to beat Leicester.

$21 to win the second race at Caulfield.

We could finance the next 10 NSWolves meetings with a Punter’s Club punt on 4 legged Wolves.

I fancy the horse has more chance than the team.

When is the next meeting by the way. You in Sydney anytime Roger?

Happy to contribute to the NSW Punters Club.
We will beat Leicester, good vibes at the final whistle from many Players.
Our new no 9 is due a bit of luck and a couple of goals.
Roger, our Motley Crew Golf Group is in Sawtell on 25th Feb.
Cheers

I’m trying to get to Sydney more than once a year as one of my nieces and her family have moved there from the UK.

A date in March that suits all parties could be worked on and I’ll be down again on 29th July.

Could easily be persuaded to hang around for a NSWolves on the 31st.

Very difficult to judge 2 year olds with only one or two races under their belt, unless they’re exceptional.

Wolves ran a lot better than I expected in a good class race and I’d have been happy to take $12 about it tomorrow.

Are the Motley Crew up here for long Paul?

Having a drink down the Sawtell Hotel?

Wolves came third at 4.40.

If we win our next 16 games we would have 74 points which is probably enough for third too.

Hello Roger,

Old style Wednesday evening meeting on the 31st March, I’m up for that.

Bit if bad luck with Silva’s chance this morning, any Kepper other than Schmiechel and I think he would have scored.

I’ll start working on the 31st immediately.

A good save then Paul?

Instinctive with his foot but he does it all the time. Top Keeper!

I reckon that Schmeichel is head and shoulders above the pack as the best keeper/stopper in the league. In my opinion he is the reason Leicester do so well. All the goals in the world from the criminal Vardy mean nothing if you leak goals at the other end. He just makes saves that no one else can make. And he seems to never cock up!

And hopefully I'll be able to come along on the 31st March - Saturdays have always been a nightmare for me (with about 6 games of kids sport across Sydney- starting at 7:30am and ending at 9pm!) so a Wednesday could be better as I'd like to meet some of you in person. As a warning, I am actually Australian... Is anyone else on this group from Australia originally or are you all Wolverhampton natives?

Tim

I think we have had Australians in the past. There was a bloke called Raymond E. Orr that came along once and I'm certain you won't be any stranger than him.

Roger is from Kent originally so quite far from Wolverhampton

EFFIN KENT!!!!

That’s the worst insult I’ve received since an Irishman assumed I’d be a poxy monarchist because of my accent.

I need a lie down to get over this.

I'm sorry Rog, it's my misunderstanding.

A few years ago I said to someone "Do you know Roger Cooper? and they rolled their eyes and said "Oh yeah, Kent"

C’mon Steve, everyone knows Roger is from Essex!

Near Golders Green, right Roger?

Roger Cooper

This is all getting too much.

Not Essex, though that is an improvement on K***.

Bethnal bloody Green, London E2, on the opposite side of London to Golders Green.

Easy to assume Golders Green with you being Jewish though.

Sorry Roger, I knew it had a Green in there somewhere.

I am so glad I brought this up - has been highly entertaining!

Isn't Bethnal Green West Ham territory? I visited the area a few times when I lived in London - but as per most Londoners, rarely ever ventured too far outside the boroughs I lived in (Westminster & Kensington). When I lived in the UK i got to Molineux maybe 4 times (mainly to see dour draws and sad losses in the then Div1 - got to see us play West Brom a few times though!) but saw them play live quite a few times in or near London (at the cottage, swindon, might have even survived a trip to milwall at some stage?)

Bethnal Green is West Ham territory.

Roger Cooper (real name Regev Cohen) avoided them because of the anti-Semitism of the fans. Hence he is a Wolves fan

Didn’t the colour of his underwear back in the day facilitate his love of the Wolves? Plus nobody else in Bethnal Green was brave / intelligent enough to follow us!!

Highbury was closest to where I was born.

Upton Park and White Hart Lane both a little further away.

After all the terrible insults I’ve suffered today the winnings from four legged Wolves, taken at $5.50, will stay firmly in my pocket at the next NSWolves meeting.

Was going to buy you ****s a drink, you can get ****ed now.

I hope none of the newbies thought it was serious.

Still not buying you a drink though.

Reading this just gave me a little chuckle thinking about that time Elliot was seeing that Jewish bird and all his shenanigans trying to convince her and her family that he wasn't a beer swilling pirate.

Lol.
She was willing to date a gentile and be ostracised by her entire family and community but his drinking was a bridge too far
