Season: Made history as one-third of trio of first Nittany Lions with freshman eligibility (Tony Carr, Stevens and Mike Watkins) to start in a season opener...Started in all 33 games...Led team in scoring eight times and rebounding seven times, finishing the year second on the team in scoring (12.7) and rebounding (5.5)...Scored in double figures 21 times...Increased point production in conference games with 12.5 points per game...Averaged 16.1 points in the final 11 games of the season, an average increase of five more points per game...Introduced a three-point shot into his repertoire and went 11-32 in the final 11 games.

Michigan State (1/7): Had 18 points as top scorer in win at the Palestra. Indiana (1/18): Knotted up the game at BJC with two free throws with 4.6 seconds remaining. at Indiana (2/1): Scored then-career-best 26 points in triple overtime game with nine field goals and eight rebounds...Combined with Tony Carr for a second time as each had 20-plus point games.
