We are the student coordinators for the Honors Initiative for Prospective Students (HIPS). We are writing to ask you to participate in one of our organization’s most important events, the Honors Meet and Greet Receptions for accepted students. This event provides prospective Honors students and their families an opportunity to meet with current Honors staff, faculty, and students in an informal setting. The goal is to provide prospective students with an inside look into the Honors Program community as a whole and answer any questions they may have about the University and our program. The role you play will be valuable to both the students and their families, and we greatly appreciate your time commitment in advance.
