Reapers Rejects MC #2

Here Kitty, Kitty

Kat:

Life always finds a way to fuck you over.

I found that one out the hard way before I was even thirteen. Before that, my life had been perfect and then I was stripped away from my family. And while it certainly wasn’t what you’d call the typical family, it had been my family, my life. I had everything: loving parents, a huge biker family (even though they did fight like cat and dogs a lot), and the love from every member of one of the most notorious clubs in United States history. The Reapers blood flew through every vein in my body.

It took my years to find out why—or better who—had stripped me of my life, never knowing who the man was that’d taken everything from me. But he certainly knew who I was and, more importantly, he knew my parents. He took me hostage just to get back at my parents for something that had happened years ago.

I was the price my parents paid. Worst of all, I’ve been stuck here for years. Nothing about my stay with the Demons of Hell motorcycle club is glorious, especially not with the things they say and worst of all, the things they force me to do. I started out as a girl full of light but having spent so much time in the dark has sucked almost every bit of light I had left.

Darkness was all I’d known until I met him, and he lit the last remaining ember I’d had left inside me.

Damon

When I agreed to go undercover at the Demons of Hell motorcycle club, I had no idea exactly what my father had been signing me up for.

My father’s personal gain had been my sole purpose. Growing up in the Brotherhood Motorcycle Club had given me a good idea of the club life but being thrown into Rage’s idea of a club was something that nobody could’ve prepared me for.

Four years in this club and I’d learned next to nothing. Every day, I could feel myself getting closer to the information my father sent me for, that my family needed. My father had abandoned everything, and it had all been Rage’s fault. Even so, my father had vowed to return, to right every and all wrongdoing that Rage had had a hand in and he would fulfill that promise.

And while I may have come here for my father’s bidding, that wasn’t the reason I’d decided to stay. I could’ve made the choice a long time ago to run back home, to return even if it was with nothing useful. Every single day that I’m here, I stare in the face of the person I’ve decided to stay for. Her face screams how lost and broken she is, how she’s had everything ripped from her by him. Rage calls her his property and I’m letting him think that for now.

If only he knew about the way she looks at me whenever she’s not in his sight…

This picks up from where the first finished. Rage has his revenge - He takes Kathryn . He thinks she's his daughter until a car crash prices she isnt. From then on the gloves are off . Rage treats his Kitty worse than an animal. When She finally thinks she's had enough Trig steps in and saves the woman he's been sent to protect by taking her home. What happens next is enough twists and turns to make your head spin. I need the next one more than sleep

Kat dosent have an easy life. Being kidnapped from her loving biker family at the age 13 and had to live in a hostage situation ever since. Damon have gone undercover in the motercykle club Kat is stuck with and a romance blossoms between them. I liked it, it was enjoyable but I wasn't totally in love with it but it could be because of the head space I'm in right now.

I like Elizabeth Knox's writing style and Kat and Damon's Story wasn't an exception. It was quite raw compared to the other books I've read by this author and also even if Kat and Damon find their happy ending, the main story continues and you can't but read the next book in the series!

WARNING: This story contains triggers .

This is the second book in this awesome series. Kat was ripped away from her family at a young age, by psycho Rage. Damien aka Trig, has infiltrated the MC, in order to get Intel for his own MC, and as well are keep an eye on Kat. This is a well written flawless story, which is heartbreaking, emotional, gritty, and filled with love. I was totally captivated throughout, and I look forward to reading more of this talented authors’ work. I recommend this authors’ work for all MC lovers!

Kat was taken by a man she never knew. He seemed nice at first but when he realized she wasn’t who he thought she was he turned on her. Since then Kat has been a prisoner and slave to Rage. The things she has done, seen and lived through are beyond words until someone steps in on her behalf.

Damon was sent to the Demons of Hell MC to gain information for his father. He has been there for years, trying to find out whatever he could about Rage. He has seen a sh!t ton but has heard even more. When he finds Kat he goes into protective mode. He takes her to the one place he knows he can keep her safe or so he thinks.

We got a a taste of Here Kitty, Kitty in Overzealous Alphas (btw grab it NOW while you still can!!) and I was HOOKED from the first word. Granted I’m a huge Elizabeth Knox fan but it has nothing to do with it. The details in this book are phenomenal. I love her dark, twisted, steamy and funny writing style. I’m looking forward to seeing what else she has in store for us readers!! 🖤🔥☠️🔥🖤

The blurb caught my attention and I was really interested in the concept as it was described. The book started out pretty good. I got a lot of emotional helplessness and numbness from Kat but it only lasted until she was rescued. This is a girl that was mentally, physically tortured and drugged for 10 of her most formative years (13 to 23) and as soon as they change her geography and she is surrounded by family, she is suddenly a new person, no trauma, she's as she put it "a new person, the person she was meant to be". She is also fine with having sex, no trauma there, either. However, she is also a cutter and takes to cutting after her rescue without any resolution (or her boyfriend even noticing) to the issue and her drug withdrawal goes without any problems either, no addiction problems, just weans off them, no problem. It was totally unbelievable. Then, at the conclusion, because the bldg is gone, they think it's fine to just send her back to where she lived all those years without her family again or without any thought to her mental health issues they are all ignoring. The whole situation, including her family, how they reacted, how they interacted, how the club didn't seem to take any of her needs into consideration was just a mess. Damon wasn't treated any better. I don't get his loyalty to anyone by the end of the book. And the final kicker in the unbelievable plot twist This just isn't for me.

Here Kitty, Kitty by Elizabeth Knox is an awesome read. This is the second book in the Demons of Hell series and the Reapers MC series. This is the story of Kathryn and Damon. Kathryn (Kat/Kitten/Kitty) was kidnapped by Rage when she was young. Rage, the President of the Demons of Hell, believed her to be his daughter but when he found out she was not he held her captive, drugged her, beat her, treated her badly. Her parents are members of the Reapers MC and used to be with the Demons of Hell. Damon (Trigger/Trigg) is a member of the Brotherhood MC. His father is the President and sent him undercover in the Demons of Hell. They both were attracted to each other from the first time they saw each other but neither knew that and they never follow-up on it because Rage would have killed them both. One night Kat decided to kill herself by overdosing but Trig found her and took her to the hospital and then took her back to the Reapers. Will Rage find them? Will Kat let her past come between them? Will Damon let his duty to his MC come between them? Will Rage get what’s coming to him? Will Kat and Damon ger their HEA? This is a dark, action-packed book with a lot of twists and turns. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride. This is a standalone read with the cliffhanger. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the next book by Ms. Knox. I definitely recommend this book.

This is a dark MC read involving several clubs and their feuds. Kat was the penalty price for one of them. She'd be taken from her friends her family years ago. Rage, the President, took her for one reason and when that didn't turn out he kept her tormented her. When she'd reached the end of her endurance Damon AKA Trigg stepped in.

Damon was a plant from his father's club to gain information. That's why he came. She's why he stayed. He would be the one to see a glimmer left inside her dead eyes. The robot she'd become. Taking her meant going against his father's plans. He'd had enough of those plans. Time for his own.

Returning her to her family was the beginning of renewal for her, for him, for them. Would they live long enough to discover how far it would take them?

The book is steamy, dark, with lots of interesting characters. I would like to have learned more about Kat. There had to be much more buried in the recesses of her mind. Her body showed the many scars she suffered. Inside were deeper scars she'd have to acknowledge.

If you like them dark and brutal with lots of club politics this one is for you.

Twisted and Dark

Damon has been undercover within the Demons MC for years but the time has come for it to come to an end. Rage is Prez of the Demons and he and his club are known for the atrocities they have rained down on others. After kidnapping Kat/Kitty/Kitten years ago thinking she was his daughter and then finding out otherwise he had made Kitty his “pet” doing things to her that were unthinkable. Kitty has finally seen the opening she has been looking for all of these years; its time she find her peace and take the only way out of the hell she’s been living. The problem is that Damon has been watching her for years and now it’s become his time to be her savior.

There are plenty of twists and turns in this book that keep you guessing from one minute to the next what new secret will be revealed affecting so many lives. I will definitely be looking at more books in the Reaper’s MC series.

Here Kitty, Kitty by Elizabeth Knox is book Two in the Reapers MC Series. This is the story of Damon/Trig and Kathryn /Kat. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I did think you could make it a standalone book if you wish to do so. Kat at one time was a member of the Reapers MC and had a pretty good life within the MC with her family. But then when she was in her teens Rage the President of the Demons of Hell motorcycle club took her thinking at first she was his daughter but then learning she was not. Rage turned on Kat drugging her and treating her like a slave. Damon has been sent from the Reapers MC to go undercover in the Demons of Hell MC to look for information but finds Kat. Their connection is hot and fast which makes him stay to try to get her away from there. This is a dark read so there is possible triggers for people.

Carla's Five Star Review

Here Kitty Kitty is the second book in the Reapers MC series, and it is Kat and Damon's story.

Okay friends, this story is not for the faint of heart, but I freaking loved every nervous, nail biting second!! It is packed with action, and a few pretty steamy moments as well. I loved Kat so much! That girl stared the devil down and survived! And Damon? Don't get me started on him! I tell ya he is the perfect alpha male with a heart for Kat that will make any woman jealous! And that freaking ending? I never saw it coming! I need the next book asap!

The book can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading in the series order. This book jumps into some pretty dark stuff with the heroine right away which could trigger some folks. The love story was very hot but I took off a star because for all the dark material discussed in the book it didn’t go deep enough for me to really connect with characters.

Saying that this book was a quick read with a great little love story, some funny side characters and I will continue with the series!

Would recommend.

Kat has been through hell for years she's not even sure how long anymore. She Rage's, Kitten and does as she is told til she tries to end it all. Damon finds her just in time to save her from the end. Damon knows just what she needs her family after all these years he's taking her home. Y'all these two are both hot messes in there own ways but they are protective of each other and know what they want.

Kat is a prisoner to Rage and she struggles with why she is being held by him and why her family has not come to get her. She struggles with living anymore and has inflicted many scars upon herself through the years while remaining with Rage and the Demons of Hell MC.

Damon "Trig" Raines has infiltrated Rage's club with hopes of putting the pieces together about what Rage is doing and who his alliances are with.

When Damon must make a critical choice will he save Kat or get the information his club needs?

My heart broke for Kat in this book! At first I was kind of confused when they referenced Rage as her father but I quickly put all the pieces together and figured it all out. Kat was living in her own version of hell and I did understand the choice she made as she was desperate to leave where she was.

Damon was great and I was very happy with his choices as well. I knew he would protect Kat with everything he had and there were a couple of times that I wondered if Rage would find them.

I really liked how everything tied together although I could understand why Kat was upset and she thought she was forgotten about.

I'm looking forward to more of these two in other books!

I was really disappointed with this book. Scarred, the first book in the Reapers/Demons of Hell series, was phenomenal. So good, in fact, that I honestly didn't know if my anxiety would be able to take what I thought this book would throw at me.

I feel that we're not made aware of how much time passes after Rage takes Kat. For basically the whole book, I'm trying to guess how long she had been away from her family. I also think the book could have benefited from more interactions between Rage and Kat. There were hardly any and it makes whatever she went through seem like nothing, because we don't see any of it.

The ending did shock me, quite a bit. That's how Elizabeth Knox is going to keep you coming back for more. She can't drop a bomb like that and not deliver.

Being only a shell of what she used to be, Kat learns to be the obedient pet, and void of emotion, Trigger watches her, apparently, he didn’t know that she was Rage’s, and no one is to look at her, she sees only one escape from her life, death.
After trying to kill herself, Kat didn’t expect Trip to save her or that she would be telling her to take her home. Kat has always wanted Trig to look at her the way he was now, he lets her know she doesn’t belong to any man, it’s the opposite, he belongs to her. He wants her, she going to enjoy the moment and hope he’s not done with her after. Needing answers, Kat wants to know if he’s going to leave, surprised when he lets her know someone would have to kill him to get him out of her life.
When she learns that Damon was put there to watch out for her and find out information she gets mad and lets him know it, she was a job to him. Damon’s angry he’s done everything to protect her, and she thinks he doesn’t care, he wants her and knows she wants him, he knows he has to walk away before he, hate F**** her.
After meeting with his father, Damon makes his decision, knowing he was only used a pawn, when he’s father tells him to leave Kat, he gives him back his cut. Fist knows what happened and tells Damon that choosing to put Kathryn over his family makes him family and he has a place with the Reaper’s if he wants.
With everything going on there’s going to be a war, Damon wants Rage. Kat learns about Damon being patched into the Reapers, only he didn’t tell her, but she knows that means he wants her, he did it for their future, but what will their future be with not only one war coming but two, and Kat wonders if when Rage is finally gone will she get her peace and happiness.

This is the first book I have read by Elizabeth and I really enjoyed it. This is book is the second book for two different series by Elizabeth. This book takes you on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Kitty (Kathryn) was taken when she was thirteen by a guy who thought she was his daughter. When he realized that she wasn’t things changed. He was never nice to her but after he found out she wasn’t his daughter things turned really bad. Damon was sent into the Demons of Hell undercover. He wasn’t told everything by his father. He had to missions. One for his family and one to lookout for Kat. He never imagined how he would feel about her once he meets her. Then one day Kitty has had enough and Damon steps into save her. Things aren’t going to be easy for them once the Demons of Hell realize she is gone and who took her. Damon only cares about taking care of Kitty. He wants to take of her and for her to be his. They are attracted to each other and for the first time they will be able to act on it. Will Damon be able to get Kat back to her family and take care of her the way he wants to? Kat’s life is about to change again. This time in a good way. Things won’t be easy for anyone. Danger is coming at them from more than one side. This book was great. The characters in this book are great and they come off the page. There were parts where I wished I have read book 1 in the series that lead to this one. I have purchased them and can’t wait to read them to see how they lead to this book. I look forward to reading more of Elizabeth’s books.

Well another great book in the series.....From the moment she was kidnapped you couldn’t wait to find out what happened. And as you will find out Rage had her and used her once finding out she was not his. Using her and abusing her was his way. It excited him to know she was a pet and a pet she was. Feeding her product just to see results and making her go the serious lengths to be free. So how was it that Trig had infiltrated the ranks? Well that was under Fists orders along with the Brotherhood. Damon had never knew the ultimate struggle was going on within the clubs and would soon find out. As the club was not keeping an eye on Kat she finally found her time to take enough pills to end her life, since she knew no one was ever going to find her. Until Trigger made the mistake of pissing Rage off and was left behind. She took said pills and Trig comes to the rescue but with a twist. He has yet to tell Kat what his place was on getting her out. And the plot thickens...... Once she is returned to her family a little is revealed but at what cost. The strike is out for Rage and no one is the wiser, the torture beating dismemberment of Rage and all he can say is HE WILL COME! Well if that’s got you thinking of course you will have to read to find out and continue the ride as an alliance between clubs will come full bloom and to see what “Rage” meant by that. So grab your copy get caught up and enjoy the ride the series is only getting better.

Please read this first.

For anyone thinking about reading this book, be prepared for acts of extreme violence against the heroine. The description does not even begin to prepare the reader for what is disturbing abuse against the main female character. While I'm sure these types of violent acts occur in real life, I don't read MC romance to be made privy to the violence perpetrated against the females who are part of the MC life. I don't have a problem with the club whores, the illegal acts performed by the MC members, the drinking and carousing. I really don't find heinous abuse acts against women enjoyable in my pleasure reading and the author has a responsibility to ensure readers are prepared for this through the book description.

I stopped reading this series after the this book where the heroine was kidnapped at age 13 and started to receive extreme abuse at age 15. When I started the fourth book only to discover the one thing that I waited for through this series to happen, actually didn't, it was time to put it aside. I honestly can't believe any self-respecting MC would allow anyone to commit the crimes against their MC that happen in this series without making every effort to hold the perpetrator responsible. It's like these MCs just roll over saying, "Whatever." This series is definitely not pleasure reading.

Kathyrn is returned to her family and revenge is swift!
by sewsummore

Kathryn was abducted when she was only a child. Separated from family and friends, her abductor, a biker club President, made her life a living hell. When the time was right, she found the pills that would put her to sleep forever. Trig, found her that night and took her to the hospital, he told her she was free and that he would take her home. This book was an emotional read, her suffering at the hands of her abductor was horrific, but Kat survived, and she now had a savior who would protect her forever. When Kat arrived home, she learned that there were more shocks in store for her. Trig was not his real name, but instead, Damon was undercover to gain intel on what was happening in the club. It was during this time he fell for Kat, and he hated the conditions in which she lived. When the opportunity to take her away, he grabbed her and never intended to return. This book is one of a series, and I recommend reading the previous books first for better understanding and clarity. I have become addicted to this series, the cast of characters and drama of their lives makes this series one I thoroughly enjoyed, and I eagerly await the release of the next book in the series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
