Here is our Getting Started with Personalized Semantics documentation.

Symbol Demo

Listed below are the steps needed to run the Personalized Symbol Demo. It is important to point out that this demo was based on our original documentation which used aui-symbol as the proposed attribute. However, we have decided to proceed with data-symbol instead, following the HTML5 convention for experimental attributes which allows us to test our proposal and not require browsers to implement aui-symbol in order to have valid HTML pages.

These demos will be updated to the new data-symbol implementation soon.

In Step #2 Setting up the profile shows the power of symbol translation and facilitating communication mutually unintelligible symbol systems.

  1. Install this extension to personalize the Symbols Demo below.
  2. Create a Personalization Profile
  3. Visit the Symbol Demo Page

To add the symbols and personalize the page, press the small eagle icon in the toolbar. You can change the setting in your profile or make new ones.

We are working on an extreme personalization standard that let people with cognitive and learning disabilities join the online community and share information and communicate across groups.
