He received his PhD from University of Vermont in Bioengineering and biomedical devices in 2016. Spencer was NIH, IRACDA (Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Awards) postdoctoral fellow at Tufts University. He then served as an Assistant Director at CBCB, UMMS. He has extensive experience in guiding graduate students and postdocs for variety of job application and interviews.
