Petition to form the ASA Diversity and Inclusion Interest Group (DIIG) -- now the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Outreach Group

To the ASA Council of Sections Governing Board: We the undersigned would like to petition the Council of Sections to form the ASA Diversity and Inclusion Interest Group.

Julia Sharp will serve as the interim chair and be supported by an interim steering committee which will establish group membership and hold elections. Details about leadership positions are available in the charter. Donna LaLonde will be the ASA staff liaison.
