Help me give my students the chance to learn to code using an ipad. These apps will help them learn to communicate with each other and learn how to solve problems using code.

My Students

I teach technology classes to grades K-5. I have each class once a week so we try to work as hard as we can to get as much accomplished as possible. We focus on research in social studies and computer science. Coding is a big part of what we learn through various programs in Grades K-5.

I teach in an urban school in New York City.

My students are from multicultural families. They would benefit from a variety of resources for their unique learning styles. My students are motivated to learn and and are very dedicated to learning new skills.

My Project

Technology is the way to our future. Computer science, math and science skills are very prominent in today's society, especially for girls. The students will work independently and with a partner on apps helping them learn to code. This will help students excel at critical thinking, logic, persistence and creative problem solving in all areas.

This project will enable all students to learn and experience how to write code.

This will enhance their creative skills, problem solving and persistence in all subject areas. The students will learn how to work cooperatively together to solve problems. This project will motivate students to look to the future and learn what opportunities there are in the real world and how they can achieve goals set.
