The annual ECA-funded Open Doors report is a definitive survey on international and U.S. higher education student mobility. The briefing offers the public and members of the media access to the newest data available from the annual ECA-funded Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Report highlights will include survey results on international and U.S. student mobility, the top sending and receiving countries, and statistics on student demographics.

To mark the start of International Education Week, the Institute of International Education released the Open Doors 2020 data on Monday, November 16th, 2020. The Open Doors 2020 Report on International Educational Exchange provides a wealth of information and data on international students studying in the United States in the 2019/20 academic year, U.S. students studying abroad for academic credit in 2018/19, international scholars conducting research in 2019/20, and intensive English students in the 2019 calendar year.
