The mission of the College of Medicine Beating Hearts is to educate middle school students regarding the basic anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, to teach them the importance of maintaining heart health, and to equip them with the basic knowledge and skills to perform Hands-Only CPR and AED use. Beating Hearts will teach these life-saving skills to middle-school students through a series of three heart-health education sessions.
