Saginaw Valley State University is hosting 700 high school students from 25+ schools in DECA District 1 Conference and Competitive Events on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
As a judge, you will hear students present their problem solving ideas based on several different industry/career scenarios. You will be given the scenario ahead of time so you know what to expect from them. You will also be given a rubric so you know how to score them. Pre-competition meeting will be held on he second floor of Curtiss Hall. You will typically evaluate 8 to 10 students or teams. 75+ judges are needed for a successful conference.
Please fill out the invitation. You will receive a confirmation message that we received the response. We will send a follow up message closer to the date of the conference. We really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to support our future leaders. In order for the event to be a success, we will need several volunteer judges. If you could also forward this request to any of your colleagues or friends that may be interested in judging that day, we would appreciate your efforts.
