DIG/SACNAS Interview Weekend Coffee Session RSVP
The GSBS Diversity Interest Group (DIG) and the UMMS chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Chicano/Hispanic and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) will host late afternoon coffee sessions during the GSBS interview weekends for interviewees to attend and learn more about the student-led diversity initiatives that are occurring in GSBS.
The coffee sessions are an opportunity for DIG and SACNAS leaders to introduce themselves and their diversity-focused projects to potential future GSBS students. Additionally, all GSBS students are invited to attend these sessions to chat with interviewees about UMMS, answer any questions that interviewees may not have had the chance to ask during the rest of the interview day, and create a welcoming environment to discuss the current diversity and inclusion initiatives in GSBS and UMMS as a whole.
If you'd like to attend any or all of these coffee sessions to share your perspective with GSBS interviewees, RSVP below!
