Remote Learning Resources and Guidance for District 3 Families

Every District 3 School has created an escalation pathway plan to solve problems that stand in the way of student learning during this crisis.  In most cases, the classroom teacher(s) will be the first point of contact.  If you and your child are experiencing challenges around technology, academics, social/emotional issues, Special Education, ENL Services, etc., reach out to your child’s teacher first. In the event, the issue is outside their expertise, they will refer you to supportive personnel within the school community who will support you.

Staffed by DOE employees and community-based organization partners, the centers will provide children with three daily hot meals, remote learning time with their teachers, activities like art, music, and physical education, and social and emotional support.

School Survey - Every year, all parents, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 take the NYC School Survey. The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.
