Topic: ESOL Curricula on Lead Poisoning Prevention(Open to Organizations that Offer ESOL)Hello Everyone,Thank you for registering for the workshop:Lead and Leadership Workshop: Public health curriculum about preventing lead poisoningLesson Sets for Mid- and Upper-Level English Language Learner (ELL)Date: 10/29/20Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pmWorkshop Open to Organizations that Offer ESOL.  The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, in partnership with The City University of New York and the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, has created an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) curriculum about lead poisoning prevention. During this workshop, ESOL educators will get an overview of the lead poisoning prevention curriculum, which teaches ELL  students about lead, why it is harmful and how families can protect themselves. The lessons feature brief narrative and non-narrative readings and linked activities in a fillable PDF ready for use in synchronous or asynchronous classes online.
