Ride Report for the Week of June 2
Al Carlson leads a hardy group through rain up Mill Creek Ravine June 5. Come join the Wednesday evening Show'N Go for leisurely cycling adventures in the city.
With threatening weather, only Peter joined Char & Terry for the final of six rides for the New Rider Outings (1 cancelled due to poor air quality). Nice ride in spite of the weather. The program was well received and is planned to be repeated next spring.
The June 9 Sunday Ardrossan Ride carried on despite the ominous skies. The rain did come down hard after about 5 km in but only for a few minutes ... not enough to dampen anyone's spirits!!! Max Mayer (second from the left) joined our picture after finishing 63 km during the morning Ardrossan TtT ride ... Max is 90 years strong next week!!!
Look at that blue sky!! Three hours later it was not so blue!! Hills and rain on this WE TtT ride . Never a dull moment!! 🤣🤣 Thanks to those who waited to make sure us wet rats made it back safely. Next ride on June 16 is in Spruce Grove. Reminder that there will not be a WE TtT ride on June 23.
This is one of our new WE TtT riders,John. He did not ride with the group today as he needed to be done earlier but he did the same ride. We met him half way through. What a super cool bike!!
