Deviant Attraction is a wonderful collection of Jennifer Bene stories. Made up of three stories and the accompanying extras, Deviant Attraction is a great way to introduce yourself to Jennifer Bene’s work. If you’re already a fan and are looking for more, Deviant Attraction is a great way to get that more.

As with all Jennifer Bene stories, the stories in Deviant Attraction were incredibly hot and addictive. Each story sucks you in and leaves you wanting more. The Invitation has you turning the pages for more, with the short story, Ben’s Day, giving you the fun extra the ending leaves you desperate for. Reunited wasn’t quite as enjoyable, but it was a fun read, with the extended ending, A Night Off, giving the story extra steam. The Rite was a different type of story to the two prior, having a paranormal element, but it is just as enjoyable, with the extended ending, Magic is a B*tch, ensuring you get to see beyond the main story.

Without a doubt, this is a collection worth reading.

Individual Ratings:

The Invitation: Four stars.
Ben's Day: Four stars.
Reunited (with A Night Off): Three stars.
The Rite (with Magic is a B*tch): Four stars.

REUNITED
Who wouldn't want a High School Reunion surprise like this one, One that could change everything for Megan and her big second chance with her ex boyfriend and secret crush and let me tell you these two are hotter then sin and I loved Erics control take charge and Colbys softer side it was such a good mix along with Megans feisty attitude that just edges them on. You can feel all the emotions combined from these characters and they have such big hearts and passion it was beautiful and that ending perfection the way it should be they deserve it all. Invitation
This was fantastic and so super hot OMG!!! I loved it all. Cara who thinks she leads a boring life gets to awaken so many firsts discovering her submissive side with an invitation to a very exclusive party and gets to have not one but two very experienced Doms Saif who is very commanding and Ben who is very swoon-worthy and both drop dead gorgeous show her all about it and really push her limits. The whole experience of the first time was so good and full of surprises and I couldn't put it down and want so much more, this will not disappoint. THE RITE
This was my first Witchcraft and Warlock story and I absolutely loved it. It was super intense and not what I was expecting at all but so much more and thinking oh god this is bad and not going to end well at all. I loved Heathers character and Ricks so much more, they were perfection and so accepting of each other even though Heathers family of witches are crazy. The writing keeps you so engaged in this story and the words just suck you right in.

This novel – Deviant Attractions - is three previously released stories combined into one boxset book for the current release. I had only read one of the stories prior to picking up this book (The Rite), and oddly enough that story remains my favorite out of all of them. For this novel there is a bonus story added that is actually one of the best pieces next to The Rite in the lot; more on that later. All in all, this is a fun novel to read, and yet at the same time I think it is the book I would put at the bottom of the list of everything that I have read by the author so far. It is not that the stories are bad; far from it. But when compared to her other novels, these stories, with the exception of The Rite, just have certain aspects in each that are lacking when compared to the depth of her other works. If you have read novels by this author such as Fae, or any of the Thalia series, or Corrupt Desires, you’ll find some flashes of those novels here (and some of the trademark passionate sex scenes), but you may find that none of these stories resonate the same as her other works.

The first story in the book is The Invitation. This story is a sweet little BDSM discovery romance based around a young woman (Cara) who discovers something new about her sexuality when she becomes caught up into a ‘invitation only’ group that her roommate draws her into. The ‘club’ she becomes involved with introduces her to the world of BDSM, where Cara, our heroine, is introduced to submission by a very perceptive (and sensuous Dominate) named Saif. As the novel progresses so does Cara, through levels of ‘play’ that she is introduced to while in this group. Cara’s mentor through this is Saif, and he guides her as she discovers all that she desires about being submissive, and what she is willing to do that she never thought herself capable of before.

The conceit of this novel is really simple. It is nothing more than a story of sexual awakening. It’s difficult to try and breathe more into it than that, because, at least to this reader, there simply isn’t much else here. Not that this makes it a bad story. It isn’t. But, unlike many of the other stories that I’ve read by this author, this story simply doesn’t have much depth to it. It has some very hot scenes, make no mistake. And if that is what you are after, this story will certainly please. However, I have come to expect (and love) the depth of characterization that Ms. Bene creates with her protagonists (and antagonists), and this story does, in comparison to others she’s written, fall short in that regard. Cara is a sweet young woman, and it is mildly interesting to hear her voice as she breaks out of her staid world into something more provocative, but…. beyond the “Oooo! I’ve discovered I like being submissive and BDSM sex!” there isn’t much that draws us to her. In the end I was left going “Well, how nice for her. But… meh.” As for her mentor, Saif…. I have some personal reasons which have nothing to do with the quality of the story or writing for why I disliked the character (although I found it hilarious that in the bonus story a portion of those reasons was addressed in passing), so I could not find myself engaged with his character at all. He embodies certain traits in Dom’s that I dislike in the real world lifestyle, and for that I was quite often either rolling my eyes, or grimacing at his words and actions. I know there are those who will eat this character up, and for that I say, more power to you. For this reader…. no.

The one bonus story (Ben’s Day) attached to this box set is a story set in the same timeframe and locale as The Invitation, and though it is only a short bonus story added for this box set, it is actually my second favorite story in this novel overall. The plot is simple; Ben is interacting with his partner (Saif, from The Invitation), and in doing so he notices that the assistant that they employ is ‘frustrated’. The woman, Krista, had once been involved in the club, seguing into becoming a more traditional employee. In doing so, she started to be shut out of the very reason she came into both Ben and Saif’s orbit (the club activities and play), and Ben comes to realize this. Once he realizes this, he then sets about making things right for her.

The reason I liked this story is that despite is rather simple principle the characters here seem much more rounded out than in The Invitation. The motivations for their actions seems more believable, and grounded in backstory which helps you understand both Ben and Krista on a more personal level, than the characterizations in the previous story. I will also admit to a personal bias here which I have no doubt comes into play; there is a scene in which Ben discusses with Krista his reasoning for doing what they are doing, and he refers to Saif as “Mr. Dramatic…” When I read that line, I burst out laughing. It was the perfect description for the type of Dom that Saif is, when compared to Ben. Saif is what I’ve always referred to as a Drama-Dom. The dark brooding Dom who makes the TPE seem like some sort of dark binding of a submissive to a Master. Glowering eyes, serious, moody voice, never cracking a smile, and God forbid a joke. I know there are those who love the type. This reader is not one of them, whether it be in literature, or outside of the written word. The interaction between Ben and Krista is so much more tender, engaging, and, IMHO, downright passionate than any of Saif’s brooding, deep-voiced, dark commanding words and actions. Again, take all that with the requisite grain of salt; it is truly a personal bias coming into play here, but that one line and exchange, along with the interplay between Krista and Ben, did make me love this story so much more than the first one.

The next story is Reunited. This story runs a very close second to Ben’s Day in terms of enjoyment, and it is a much longer story than that one. It is a ‘high school reunion reunites lovers’ story, of which I have read before. Megan meets up at her ten year reunion with her old boyfriend Eric, and then with Colby, a friend for whom she (and much of the other females from school) had an attraction to. The premise here is pretty simple, if not somewhat formulaic; they three come together at the reunion, mutual attraction is ignited, and some very hot, steamy sex ensues. Honestly, there is not a lot NOT to like about this story. And more so than The Invitation, there is enough character development provided as the three characters come together that you feel invested in each of them, and watching how things unfold pulls you along. All three main characters; Megan, Eric, and Colby are just fun likeable people who come together at the reunion, and reconnect in ways that go beyond just simple reminiscence and flirtations. The feelings that each discover and come to terms with over the course of the evening are sweet to watch unfold, and there are plenty of “D’awwww!” moments. Equally intriguing is the choice by the author to go further than just the one night. The story continues on to follow up with what happens with all three of them after they leave the reunion in the following months and years. The descriptions in that portion of the story is as much endearing as the actual night of the reunion. I was as taken in by how the three come together and start a life together as I was with their original night of passion. It was touching, captivating, and the perfect end to their story.

The final story in this set is The Rite. This was the story I had read previously when it was a stand-alone novel, and this is my favorite by far out of every one in the set. This is a much more nuanced and in-depth story than any other in the novel. Heather, the protagonist, belongs to a coven of withes known as the Pritchett witches. She has come of age where she is expected to perform a dark rite to gain her powers as a witch. For her own reasons she has no desire to, and this brings her into conflict with her family. To avoid being ‘cast away’, she determines to go through with the rite, but in making the necessary arrangements she finds herself caught up in another unexpected turn of events where her family’s past catches up with her in a very terrible way.

This is truly the style of story I have come to expect from Ms. Bene. There is some very well built backstory and world-building here, and the quality of those elements to this story draw you so deeply into the conflict that Heather finds herself caught up in. And Heather herself is much more the strong female protagonist that Ms. Bene excels at writing than the others in this set, Krista and Megan notwithstanding. Heather knows she is being torn between her own value system, and that of her family, and though she struggles to do everything she can to try and balance it out, the real tension here is that she knows ultimately she will have to make a very fateful decision that is going to cost someone their life. Without going into much ‘spoilery’ detail, it is that tension, and how Heather ultimately deals with and overcomes it, is what just pulls the reader in so wonderfully. As mentioned, I had read this story before, and this time reading it a second time when placed in the series of the others mentioned here, I caught myself thinking “Now THIS is the story I was expecting.” Again, this is not to say the other stories were ‘bad’, but they certainly did not have the same impact that The Rite did, and it is why I will say, if you read no other story from this box set, at least read this one. It is pure Jennifer Bene, and so you know it is going to be good.

I’ve mentioned it before in this review, but I’ll say it again; of all the novels I have read from this author, I would have to place this one as my least favorite so far. Again, to reiterate: that does NOT mean it is bad. It is only because The Invitation felt a little lacking in the details and character building that I’ve come to expect for the author, more than anything else, that this review comes with that caveat. The Reunion, while sweet and simple, also did not have the same impactful nature as this author has so clearly shown in her other novels that she is capable of. I would best describe this box set as a good starter book into the library of Ms. Bene’s works, or perhaps as a light beach read. The stories are - The Rite being the exception - light, fun, sweet, and enjoyable, but if you’ve read her other novels before coming to this one, don’t be too disappointed if the ‘oomph’ is just not there.

THE INVITATION
This is a story about Cara, a good student, with a boring life until she gets “The Invitation.”
I began reading early in the evening, and then it got late, late, late, but OMG! I couldn’t stop reading. Through this author’s words, I was right there - in Cara’s head, watching her, learning with her, experiencing with her. For Cara there are new lessons to learn and radical new ideas about pleasure and pain to absorb. I would like to thank Jennifer Bene for taking her, and through her, me on this exhilarating journey. This story left my heart thumping and my body humming!

THE RITE
Although this was a new genre for me, and I was a little reluctant to read a story about a witch, I found this tale quite gripping. Our witch is named Heather, and she is faced with a really horrible choice – her death or that of another. I could not imagine how such a dark, paranormal plot would play out.
Due to her excellent writing, Jennifer Bene’s story quickly grabbed my attention and did not let go. At times my own emotions actually mirrored the apprehension of this distraught witch. At one point, when Heather needed to find an outlet for her anxiety, I was more than surprised to find her on a Dom’s doorstep. Their BDSM interaction was intense. But, visiting this man, whom she had come to care for greatly, reduced her tension and mine, at least for a while. Then, things got really dark and frightening. But, as always, leave it to Ms. Bene to tie together all the loose ends and bring the story to a satisfactory conclusion.
For me this was a well-written, intense, anxiety ridden, “Karma is a Biotch,” HEA, paranormal romance! You cannot go wrong by reading it.

REUNITED
WOW! This book starts off with Megan, an unhappy, college drop-out, divorcee heading into her 10 year reunion. But, within a few pages, Jennifer Bene has worked her magic.
When Eric, an ex-boyfriend, arrives everything starts to warm up. And then Colby, a wanabe-boyfriend enters and things start turning hotter. Very soon, all three begin playing a game called, “Consequences.”
This story is awesome. When the three start playing, butterflies erupted in my stomach and the longer they played, the harder it got for me to breathe. And, I don’t need to tell you anything else except, if you are interested in Dominance, submission, a variety of punishments, and dizzyingly hot sex, READ THIS STORY!!!

The Invitation

Student Cara should have known she was in trouble when her pretty roomie Meredith popped into her room with a mischievous little smile and asked her "How would you like to make $1,500?" All Cara has to do is show up at a party with Meredith, flirt with the guests and look good. Memories of Cara's ex telling her she's so boring before dumping her gives her the push to say yes. At the party Cara meets the handsome but mysterious Saif who gets her all hot and bothered. Saif gives Cara an invitation to another party, a very different party. Cara wonders what party does Saif mean and what will he do with her, to her, if she accepts the invitation?

Reunited

Divorcée Megan Harper isn't happy to be at her 10 year high school reunion until her ex Eric Lewis and his best friend Colby Warren show up. The gorgeous Eric kisses Megan and teases her with the dominance she had all but convinced herself she'd imagined in high school. The sinfully hot Colby tells Megan she's gorgeous and admits he didn't chase her in high school even though he really, really wanted to. Things heat up on the dance floor, then Eric and Colby take Megan to a room where Eric asks her "Do you want to play tonight?" Megan asks "With both of you?" Eric grins "If you think you can handle it." Can Megan handle Eric and Colby or will she walk away?

The Rite

All Heather Pritchett wants is to be with the incredibly hot Rick but he's off limits, unless she wants him on her family's radar, which would be very bad. Heather has been given an ultimatum by her coven, the Pritchett witches, find a guy to complete the rite and claim her power or die. Heather's cousin Theresa finds the perfect solution ... speed dating. Heather meets the charming and hot Neil at speed dating and tries to put him off by telling him she's a witch. It doesn't work and Heather and Neil end up on date but can she go through with the rite when it would mean Neil would have to die? Will Heather ever get the normal life she dreams of?

The Invitation 4 Stars

A short and sizzling little read.

If you're after something naughty and sexy this is a great little pantie-melter of a story. Although I found it to be a little out there at times.

I loved the character interactions, the careful structure of the encounters and the wonderful flow and buildup of the story.

I enjoyed the extra short Ben's Day. It gave a little edge and background into Ben and it was a saucy and sexy little addition to the story.

I gobbled up this book in one sitting!

Reunited 5 Stars

A hot and saucy little novella that left me with a washer full of panties and downing about 2 gallons of water.

The characters were fun, sexy and interacted well eith each other. I loved the intense connection between Megan and Eric in particular and throwing Colby into the mix made my damn head spin!

Short, sexy and highly rereadable, and this is one that is going on the hot little reread shelf!

The Rite 4 Stars

This book is written in the third person which threw me off a little until I settled into the story. Its just been a little while since I read a third person story.

I liked how unusual the story was with its mix of dark erotica and paranormal. An interesting take on magic and witches, a few good twists I couldnt have seen coming and interesting characters.

I enjoyed seeing contrast between Heather and her family, her strong sense of morality versus the pressure of familial expectations. I loved how true to herself she remainrd throughout, not just morally but on an emotional level as well. Her relationship with Rick was deep and multilayered, I lovedthe trust and bond between them, it was sensual, sexy and honest.

The plot was gripping, it was fast paced and my heart was racing as I reached the climax of the story. The darkly seductive edge teased to begin with before it fell over the precipice taking me with it. An exciting read from the temptress Jennifer Bene.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

In this naughty collection everyone has their deviant desires, secret fantasies, and wicked attractions. that tempt them into the unknown. Whether it's a private party where a good girl gets the chance to bring her dark side out to play, or a high school reunion where a second chance at the love of her life gets even better when his best friend wants to play too.

This book inclues three novellas and their accompanying short stories. The Invitation witht he short story Ben's Day with an extended ending. A Night Off, and The Rite with exteded ending and then Magic is a B$$$h. If you have read Jennifer Bene before then you can't wait to dive into this and get all the goodness out of it. If you have never read her before then here is your chance to experience multiple novellas she has written and you can fall inot her writing too. I loved all of the stories in this book Reunited is a High School Reunion story. This is the story of Megan and her exboyfriend Eric who has this dominant side and then add in his friend Colby who has a softer side and you have one smoking hot story you will not be abel to stop reading.
Invitation is the story of Cara who as far as she is concerned leads a boing life, but she is about to find out that she has a submissive side. When a invitation comes to an exclusive party and their are going to be two experienced Doms, Saif and Ben, she is about to learn lessons she never knew existed in this world.
The Rite is a Witch and Warlock story. Now I am not much of a paranormal reader but I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters of Heather and Rich. This book is intense and will have you one the edge of your seat holding your breath.
This is an absolutley amazing collection that you should not miss!!

I absolutely love Jennifer Bene's work and this collection of short and steamy reads in one collection has me once again grateful Jennifer is such a talented author but also sad that with these tales being 'short stories', I am only left begging for more!

The Invitation - whoa what a steamy and sexy view into a secret and deliciously sinful 'party' where by invitation only, you get to experience a short glimpse of what Cara learns. Boy is this SO worth it - this had me yearning for my own invitation to this exclusive BDSM party and ever hopeful these characters may one day become something more than this steamy peep we are teased with of Cara, Saif and of course Ben!

Reunited - never has there been a reunion I so wanted to be a fly on the wall at as this one with Megan, Eric and Colby - all I can say is, phew the reunion was well worth it and I loved that fact we saw the future lives of these reunited as it helped me ease the 'want to know more' aspect as a reader. Perfectly written Ms. Bene!

The Rite - now this one has a paranormal edge to it but that certainly didn't detract from the sexy tale for me, despite not usually being something I would read. That being said, Heather's tale is sinfully sexy and the dark, paranormal element simply adds to the story and how it all plays out to a very satisfying conclusion - I loved it!

Individually these three are brilliantly written mini stories that get your body tingling in all the right places. They help us as readers drift away into places we can only dream (and hope) one day we may experience even some of what Jennifer Bene writes into her characters and their tales. This set is a five star read to definitely add to your own collection!

Book 1: The Invitation

I had mixed feelings for this book. I questioned why she would go when he said such a strange thing to her. Given she's supposed to be a studious girl...means she's pretty smart or so you would think. I guess my thought process is different from hers. The money gives her a clue that something is up. So why would she then agree to the next night? She didn't even wait for the man she was attracted to either. I guess I liken this to prostitution. So I didn't like it very much.

3 1/2 stars

Book 2: Reunited

A meeting of friends at a high school reunion leads to an interesting hookup. I thought this one was pretty good. Although I did think that they were extremely hard on her. A bit harsher than I thought anyway. The aspect of BDSM comes into play but it seemed abusive even though they did ask her if she was okay.

4 stars

Book 3 The rite

Okay, Ms. Bene, do not hold back! Wow was this one a surprise. I was taken by the first chapter then the author threw in a twist that I thought I saw coming but not nearly as much as it did. I'm speechless. Was it harsh? Yes Was it hard to read? Yep Did I think the punishment for her was okay? Not a chance. Did he get what he deserved? I guarantee it. Did I love this book? I had a very strong liking for it. But I do recommend it. :) I was glad it ended as it did. She deserved everything that she got in the end and so did her family.

A box set of novellas, with the first two being contemporary, and The Rite (my personal fave) a bit of PNR.

The Invitation
Cara's not boring and she's going to prove it in the most decadent manner. I loved Cara's openness, embracing her sexuality, and where her journey takes her. The very mysterious Saif, and his friend Ben, just added so much to Cara's decadent exploration. Great, delicious read from beginning to end, with the bonus short of Ben's Day.

Reunited
Ariel attends her 10 year high school reunion and meets up with her high school love Eric & his friend Colby. This book is full of sexy ménage BDSM scenes-a bit light on plot and character development, but I still loved the story. Sort of similar to The Invitation, in that it showcases a journey of discover. I enjoy the author's well-paced, flowy writing style, and I quickly devoured it.

The Rite
I wasn’t expecting so many things about this book! I'm generally not a reader of this genre but I loved it so much. The writing flowed beautifully, the plot twisted (I thought I had things worked out, but no, surprise!), and the characters were diverse and well-developed. To me, it started slowly but once the pace picked up, it stayed there. A great read, with love, action, comedy, and otherworldly elements.

The Invitaion
This is the story of a nerdy, bored, insecure girl and the men who help her (and themselves) along the way to discovering her naughty side. She ends up anything but bored but a deliciously naughty pool of hot, messy goo and sure she wants more.
Ms. Bene is at her usual hot, decadent best in this short. Or better, these two shorts.
How much sizzle and promise for more can you fit into two nights of partying ?

Reunited
Phew...!!!
I just had a double dose of hot, humming goodness.
Contrary to Ms. Benes usual dark tales, this is a story full of light and love and family. The play scenes are written in her usual intense and tingling style but this time with lots of fun and humor mixed in.
Yet another facet of Ms. Benes writing. I like it !

The Rite
The Rite is a story that focuses on the darker side of "things", but with the addition of Magic is a Bitch it ends up on the light side with a HFN and the promise of more to come.
What I enjoyed most was the application of BDSM as an antidote to witchiness gone wild.
Can I get this in tablet form or as capsulas ? ;)
To me it feels this book is a lighter version of Ms. Bene's writing.
Nevertheless, kink galore!!

A boxed set of three Jennifer Bene novellas. They are three very different stories, but each of them have that special Jennifer Bene touch and feel to them.

The Invitation

It is going to be a very short review, because sometimes you don’t need a lot of words to say what you mean.

This was one smoking hot story. I loved every word. Also really enjoyed the bonus story

The reunion

A very steamy menage story which takes place at a highschool reunion. I wish my high school reunion was like that. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and while the story takes place in the space of a few hours, it feels like they spent a long time together. They reconnect and connect so well together. It feel very natural.

And I loved the short epilogue story at the end at the book that shows what happens a few years down the road.

The Rite

A great read. It had a very different and unique storyline. I have never read sometimes like this before, while i have read plenty of books featuring witches.

It is a story filled with of twist and turns. It will keep you guessing.

Bene once again sets the world of dark romance aflame 🔥
This collection of short reads will take you on three distinctly different and unique journeys - each story guarantees a panty-melting good time 😉
The Invitation - Journey with Cara as she learns that even good girls need to be a little bad once in a while
The Rite - Heather faces a life-changing decision in this tale - a touch of pnr ads to the flavors of this story
Reunited - Megan's life didn't exactly follow her ten-year plan, she didn't finish college - her marriage didn't quite work- so when she is invited to her high school reunion she reluctantly goes expecting the same disaster she feels her life has become - Aww the consequences of this decision might just surprise her

The Invitation - WOW! Send me an invitation. This story is about Cara getting invited by her roommate to a party and helping out of her shell. Saif saw something in her he liked and invited her to a different party. Now you will have to read this story to see what happens. This book is extremely hot and sexy. Enjoy

Reunited - What a wonderful, sexy, hot story. After reading this story it makes you wish you could go back to your high school reunion and meet your old boyfriend and refall in love with him. This is a delightful book and it does make you feel happy. Enjoy 😊

The Rite - What a wonderful story. This book had a little bit of everything. A little BDSM, witchcraft, romance and fun. It was not as dark as I thought but a very enjoyable book. Enjoy reading this book.

I read this set and then had to go back and reread it again. I love how my spine tenses up while reading this series. The Invitation with Saif and Cara make your body clench in anticipation of what is to come and awe that you get to read the written word. This was the perfect story to start with. It sets the tone for the next one. Reunited with Megan, Eric and Colby make you want to revisit your high school reunion to see if you can get the same results as they did. Menage is so very hot to read about and Jennifer Bene is the master of dark and sensuous. The Rite brings it to the perfect end with intrigue and paranormal. This is a perfect set to spend the night with.

A steamy collection of stories that are all the right types of wrong. Each one is unique and enticing in its own way. Cara’s story is about self discovery in an extreme world of private clubs and bdsm while Meg finds herself at a reunion that ignites her hum drum life and Heather’s paranormal dilemma is just as scintillating as the rest. A perfect anthology full of differing naughty desires and a bit of something for everyone.

I really enjoyed this book. There are three very different stories from three different tropes but they were all great. They were very sexy and so, so hot and the characters were all likeable/loveable and all the stories have a HEA. I don't normally read paranormal, but the last story "The Rite" was about a witch and it was so charming and at times made me giggle especially toward the end when Heather was still learning about magic. I thoroughly recommend this book.

This is a brilliant set of storys by this amazing author. Not only does she write brilliant well rounded characters but she creates some amazing story lines and the sex scenes are always roasting hot. Whether you like your erotic romance on the lighter side or going totally dark Ms Bene always brings her A game!

Ok, mostly good, did not like the last one, but love this author.

While I had read the first one, I was looking forward to the next two. Number two was great. Loved it. All three characters. The third one I am not a fan of, the paranormal thing is not my thing, but by no means is this a bad review of the author. I will definitely keep reading her books!

I thoroughly enjoyed all three novellas. They are each hot shots of steamy romance and interesting plots. My favorite is Dangerous Magic- an excellent plot and twist. The Invitation is entertaining while still giving you the gray areas of escort services. Reunited is a sweet and hot second chance romance- one of my favorite tropes. I definitely recommend this collection.

I absolutely love Jennifer's writing and her imagination makes her stories come to life. I felt like I was a bystander watching as things were going on. PNR and dark are my thing so this book was right up my alley. So yummy and oh so good.

Deviant Attraction: A Dark and Dirty Collection by Jennifer Bene

### 5 Smoking Hot Hashtags ###

This is a really hot collection of decent size novellas. Each story is so well written you are there with them feeling the chemistry and bond between the characters. Personally, I'd have liked a full length version of The Invitiation and The Write.

The Invitiation ....

A really good strong novella with a bdsm theme, how student, Cara, gets an unexpected invite to an exclusive club. Can she step out of her confort zone, leaving the boring Cara behind and embark on an exciting new journey ?

Reunited ....

A high school reunion with a steaming hot twist ! Eric and Colby are delicious, this is superbly written and I enjoyed every moment of their steamy shenanigans.

The Write ...

A superb paranormal novella, that kept my interest all the way through, mixed with the intense chemistry, this is a definite must read.
