The plot thickens when Cinàed - master of all trades does a little research. He connects with Gemma. The discovery of what happened to her family that fateful night, and the discovery of her line and their connection to the druids and DKs. Especially liked the slow sweet passion between Cinàed and Gemma and really like where the story is heading. I don't want to spoil it but you learn more with the power that Gemma brings and looking forward to the crossover with the Reapers. Can't wait.

Cínead and Gemma are the main characters in this story. A sweet love story mixed with more pieces of the overall puzzle currently bewildering the Kings. It was nice to know more Dragon Kings, Merrill as well as Cínead. I look forward to the next book so much!

Dragon claimed is a great little read set in the Dark Kings series. It's another outstanding book by Donna that does give a little insight into what is facing the Kings but leaves plenty of suspense.
Cinaed is helping Ryder go through old newspapers to see if he can locate unexplained happenings anything that will give them a clue about who the Others are and what their plans are. During his investigation he comes across an article about a little girl found alone on an isle, no clue about where her brother or parents went or what happened to them. He feels an unexplainable pull to investigate further.
Gemma (Atherton) Clacher is a hermit by design she is very comfortable alone. Gemma learned quickly when she was young that people always had an agenda and usually just wanted to be around her because of her unexplained past.
Gemma is a tough but to crack but Cinaed knows that once he does it will be worth it. They embark on an investigation for answers Gemma has waited her whole life to have, what happened to her family?
