About the Experience
At the USA TODAY Wine & Food Experience, attendees enjoy food and drink samples (while supplies last), attend demonstrations and interact with exhibitors in a beautiful outdoor setting for a single admission price. Guests can customize their experience with either General or VIP Admission tickets, as detailed below. Experience the region’s flavors and create unforgettable memories!

The Wines We Taste: The Golfweek Wine Club is a Master Sommelier procured, premium wine club for those wine connoisseurs who appreciate quality, value, and exclusivity. There are a multitude of different wine club options available to the wine consumer, from winery sponsored wine clubs to “buy a case of wine for $60” wine clubs. All these different types of wine clubs appeal to a different audience and members are usually satisfied with the experiences they have. The Master Sommeliers at the Golfweek Wine Club are acquiring and tasting hundreds of wines each quarter to find the best possible selections for our members. The wines featured in our clubs must meet the absolute highest standards as far as quality, value and a “difficult-to-acquire” aspect that our members appreciate. This extreme selectivity results in very few of the wines we taste ending up as Club level offers. Our members are those individuals who want to drink the best wines, and we search and acquire premium, hard-to-find wines for them.
The Golf We Play: In addition, with our contacts in the world of golf through Golfweek, we tailor wine/golf trips to the best wine & golf venues. Our inaugural trip was to Napa Valley and future travels include plans to visit the golf courses and vineyards of Oregon, New Zealand and Bordeaux in the next couple years and shorter wine/ golf trips to Texas, Virginia, and Michigan. With many of the world’s greatest golf courses being near the best wine producing areas, combining the two into the activities of 1 club seemed like a natural fit.
Our Culinary Director
Jared Bobkin
Jared, a culinary enthusiast, began his journey at 23, diving into the all-consuming world of cuisine. Under mentor David Daniot, he honed his skills at Edgewood Country Club before becoming Sous Chef at Birmingham Athletic Club. His culinary odyssey took him through various eateries, including a stint on Fox's Hell's Kitchen, where he placed 4th. Invited back for an All-Stars season, he impressed Gordon Ramsay. Jared's expertise extends to prestigious venues like The Masters tournament. Now, as culinary director for Ventures Events, he orchestrates food events nationwide, offering bespoke dining experiences and collaborating on menus, showcasing his passion for food.
