2014 - Rush had three top-ten finishes including a seventh-place finish at SBU, and a third-place showing at Missouri S&T ... His best meet of the year came at the MIAA Championships where he placed second to earn All-MIAA honors ... he finished the season with a 36th place finish at the NCAA Regional Championships. 

2013 - Rush ran in six races for the Lions as a freshman placing 211th at the NCAA Championships in Spokane, Wash., running the 10k in a time of 34:00.3...Finished 70th at the Central Regional in Sioux Falls, S.D., running the 8k course in a time of 33:51.35...Placed 19th at the MIAA Championships where he ran the 8k course in Pittsburg, Kan., in a time of 25:35.24...Took 13th at the Jackling Jocks Invite hosted by Missouri S&T finishing the 8k course in a time of 26:08.00...Ran 26:41.1 over the 8k course at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted at the University of Arkansas finishing 117th in a race with over 300 runners...Finished 32nd at the Southern Stampede running the 8k course in a time of 25:39.35. 

Prior to Southern - Rush comes to Southern from Osage County High School in Linn, Mo ... A four-time All-Conference and All-District selection, as well as a three-time All-State pick in cross country, Rush was a three-time All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection in track and field ... He holds the school record in the 5k with a time of 16:09 and helped his cross country team to a district championship each season, as well as a fourth-place finish in 2009, second place in 2010, state championship in 2011 and a second-place finish in 2012 at the state meets.
