2018 Outdoor- Competed in 7 meets in the outdoor season ... placing 5th in the 4x100 at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational ... At the Emporia State Relays she placed 4th in the 4x100 and 2nd in the 400H ... At the Annual David Suenram Gorilla classic placing 2nd in the 4x400 and 1st in the 400H ... 2018 Indoor - Competed in 6 meets in the indoor season ... Placing 1st in the 4x400 and the 400 at the MSSU Southern Invitational ... At the MSSU Lion Open and Multi she placed 3rd in the 400 ... At the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships she placed 5th in the 4x400 and 4th in the 600yd

2017 Outdoor: Captured two top-10 finishes: sixth-place mark in the 400 meter hurdles at a personal-best of 1:02.49 and an eighth-place finish in the 4x400 relays at the MIAA Championships … won the 400 meter hurdles at the Mo S&T Dewey Allgood Invite with a time of 1:04.32 … also took a second place and third place finish in the event during the season. 

2017 Indoor: Competed in the 600 yard run and 60 meter hurdles at the MIAA Championships … took fourth in the 600 yard run with a time of 1:32.09 at the UCM Classic … recorded a third-place finish in the 600 yard as well as a fifth-place mark in the 60 meter hurdles at the MSSU Lions Invitational.

Prior to Southern - Rachel Ray attended Alma High School in Alma AR. She lettered in both cross country and track and field for 4 years. Rachel earned all-conference honors in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, the 200m, and the 4x400 relay. She was named all-state in the 100m hurdles, 4x400 relay, and the 60m hurdles. She also earned the all-conference nod in cross country. She set Alma High School’s records in the 300m hurdle, 100m hurdle, 60m hurdle (indoor), 200m (indoor), and the 4x200 sprint medley.  She won state in the 60m hurdles (indoor).

Personal - Daughter of Russel and Kelly Ray. She is a Kinesiology major at Southern.
