Biography

2016-17 - Started in and played in all 30 games in his first season with the Lions...Earned second-team All-Central Region and All-MIAA honors...Named MIAA Player of the Week twice (Nov. 14 & Dec. 12) and USBWA National Player of the Week (Nov. 14)...Set a single-game record with 16 assists on Feb. 4 against Pittsburg State...Also became the second-highest single game scorer in school history with a 47-point performance in a double-overtime win over top-25 ranked Minnesota State in the second game of the season...Assisted the team in a new single-season record for three-pointers as MSSU knocked down 250 total as well as becoming the only team to deliver Northwest Missouri State a loss where Carr had 26 points (12-18 FG), three assists, and three steals in the victory...Finished sixth in the MIAA in scoring...Ranked 23rd nationally in assists per ame, while ranking 26th in total minutes and 31st in steals per game...Led the MIAA in assists per game, steals per game, total assists, total field goal attempts, total minutes, and total steals, while ranking 19th in both steals and total assists...Averaged 19.2 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.1 steals...Accumulated four double-doubles (points-assists) at St. Cloud (Nov. 11), versus Will Jewell (Nov. 19), Oklahoma Wesleyan (Dec. 31), and Pittsburg State (Feb. 4)...Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds twice in the teams opener against St. Cloud and at Central Missouri (Feb. 11)...Averaged 36 minutes per game for the entire season.

2014-15 - Appeared in all 28 games as a true freshman...Finished sixth on the team in scoring with an average of 6.2 points per game...Second in assists with 61 (2.17 per game)...Connected on 15 straight free throws and 29 of his last 31 free throw attempts to end the season...Poured in a career-high 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting in home finale against UT Martin 2/21...Led the team with 15 points (7 for 7 free throws) in the OVC Tournament game loss to Eastern Illinois 3/4...Had career high three steals three times, last at Austin Peay 2/26...Drained career-high three three-pointers on eight attempts vs. UT Martin 2/21...Scored 18 points at Southeast Missouri 1/29 where he was 10 for 10 at the free throw line...Hauled in a career-high six rebounds vs. Robert Morris-Springfield 12/28, where he also added a career-high six assists...Also dished out a career-high six assists at Portland State 11/24...Recorded the first, of five, double-digit scoring game (10 points) at Portland 11/22-also led the team with five assists and no turnovers...Scored nine points and added three assists in collegiate debut against Harris-Stowe 11/14.

High School - Earned Class 4A All-State honors from Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (third team) and Associated Press (Honorable mention) as a senior…Chosen as the Dispatch/Argus Metro Player of the Year in back-to-back years as a junior and senior…All Big 6 First team choice as a senior…Averaged 14.1 points and 4.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game as a senior… All-Western Big 6 Player of the Year as a junior…Also All-Metro choice by the Quad Cities Times…Special mention All-State (IBCA) as a junior.
