Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) Annual Conference - VIRTUAL

November 20, 2021

SCCUR is a one-day conference held each November on the campus of a college or university in the greater Los Angeles area. It's FREE in 2021. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the research, scholarship, and creative work of undergraduates in the region, thereby recognizing excellence in undergraduate achievement. SCCUR showcases the work of undergraduate students across all disciplines and serves as a friendly, welcoming venue for undergraduates to present their scholarly and/or creative work in one of the following modes:

– Poster session

– 15-minute oral presentation

– Creative writing and poetry showcase

– Textile and fashion showcase

In 2021, the conference will be hosted by CSU San Bernardino and held virtually on Symposium by ForagerOne. SCCUR aims to replicate professional and scholarly meetings, and for many undergraduate scholars oftenparticipate in SCCUR as a "first conference" experience, going on to present their work at national professional meetings.

Benefits of Your Involvement:

– Great experience and opportunity to present scholarly and/or creative activity

– Nice addition to your résumé

– Looks good when applying to graduate school

– Participation by students from more than 50 colleges/universities

– Simple submission process
