Job Description

Overview

The Associate Supply Chain and International Collaboration will be a key member of the the REBA Supply Chain and International Collaboration Team, which helps REBA members achieve their goal of 60GW of renewable energy by 2025 and expanding the market of renewable energy to thousands of companies.  This team seeks to accelerate impact by supporting corporate programs focused on increasing energy sustainability in owned and operated facilities outside the US, and in supply chain partner operations. The team’s supply chain work is focused on building resources to help companies develop supply chain programs and provide resources for these programs to better engage and collaborate with their suppliers. The team’s international collaboration work aims to build bridges between international NGOs and a community of sustainability practitioners focused on specific geographies – all with the aim of reducing barriers and impacting markets worldwide.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Seek out and manage high-quality data related to solving complex problems and issues
  • Create innovative problem-solving approaches to drive project insights
  • Synthesize recommendations into clear and compelling presentations and written reports. Present quantitative information in a clear, visual format
  • Manage and support member relations and facilitate network engagement through communications, convenings, surveys, and on-going engagement with senior partners
  • Conduct market research, identify new market channels, and recommend improvements
  • Develop and maintain replicable tools and platforms
  • Engage with external experts via phone interviews, conferences, and response to outreach requests
  • Collaborate with team members to provide resources and project support
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies for the organization as well as external clients

Qualifications

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in a field related to renewable or sustainable energy markets including interaction with energy buyers
  • Experience working on formal project teams
  • Some people management or team leadership experience is desirable
  • Supply chain experience is desirable
  • An understanding of, and sensitivities to, different cultures around the world is desirable

Education Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent in education or experience
  • Graduate degree or significant professional experience preferred
