2019 - Appeared in 20 games while making one start as the designated player in the lineup … batted .263 (5-for-19), including two doubles, a triple, and home run  towards six RBIs and one run scored … crushed her first collegiate grand-slam in a 6-1 victory over Wayne State (2-24) with two outs in the third inning. 

2018 - Appeared in 27 and started in 20 games as a valuable utility player for the Lions during her sophomore season...finished tied for third in home runs (2) and fourth in fielding assists (30)...scored seven runs and knocked in six RBIs on six hits and eight walks toward 12 total bases...knocked in a season-high two RBIs in two games against Cameron (2/4) and Texas A&M-Commerce (2/25).

2017 - Played in 24 and started in 18 games for the Lions in her rookie season...registered seven hits, two runs scored, one double and one RBI, to go along with four walks on the season...had two multi-hit games after getting two hits each at Emporia State (Mar. 9) and vs Wayne St. (Mar. 18)...she also recorded her only extra-base hit and RBI against ESU...finished fifth on the team in fielding-percentage (.964). 

Prior to Southern - Kaycee Hodgson is a native of Camden Point, Missouri and played shortstop for the Panthers of North Platte HS and coach Ron Restler for four seasons. Kaycee helped the Panthers to a fourth place finish in the MSHSAA Class 2 state tournament her junior season earning honorable mention All-State honors as well. Hodgson was a four time first team All-Kansas City Interscholastic (KCI) Conference honoree and earned first team All-State honors this past season.

Personal - Kaycee is the daughter of Mark and Betsy Hodgson and plans to major in physical therapy at Southern.
